Once you get delivery, you will never go back! Why did it take me so long to take advantage of the delivery service. Being a mom to 5 with a super busy schedule and my husband needs all of his work clothes dry cleaned. This took hours and hours off of my week. ALL thru the app on my phone. I've also told all of my friends about the give 10 $ and get 10$ so I have saved a bit there. TIME is of the essence. Reasonably priced too! Surprised it wasn't an arm and a leg. read more

Make sure they give you a price before leaving. I paid $45 & change to get 2 curtain panes dry cleaned. They were flat no grommets or pleats. 84" long . They lady said she had no idea how much. My first alteration I got done at this place was good but the second time I asked for hemming of pants only and dry cleaning of a second item but ended up getting a really crapy job on the hemming of the pants plus they dry cleaned my pants when I didn't ask for so in a few words be careful and very clear to the clerks about what you want because they don't listen careful and you will end up paying for things you didn't ask for. read more

Breaking up is hard to do. I have used village cleaners in Murray now for close to 5 years. I have used them for both myself and my boyfriends dry cleaning, who travels for business weekly. We chose them because they were close and have environmentally friendly cleaning practices. We have given them enough business that they gave us a Christmas wreath last year as one of their best customers. Over the past year their service, quality, and reliability have evaporated. The first incident was with a sweater that I received for Christmas last year. After cleaning it was stretched and unwearable. I brought it back to them which they offered to clean again. I reluctantly agreed and got back a ruined sweater and an apology. The second situation was with my boyfriend directly. He rushed to their location to pick up his order for an early travel day the next morning. Their sign says that they're open until 7 PM the teenage girl inside at 6:55 PM said that she had already shut down her registers and could not help him or release his clothes. The final straw was two weeks ago. When I dropped off several more sweaters for cleaning. When I picked them up they were ALL stretched as if they had been hung to dry from the bottom. I reached out to the company to see what they will do to make it right. They have promised that Jeff from their corporate office would call me multiple times to work it out. When I didn't receive a call from him after a week I called their corporate office and politely asked to speak to someone that could help me. The woman who picked up the phone seemed irritated that I would even be calling them and said she could transfer me to Jeff's voicemail who is the person that handles complaints. I've left a message and still no call back. Village cleaners no longer cares about their customers. No need for a Christmas wreath this year as we will be taking our business elsewhere. read more

I stopped in with my 1 year old. This was my first dry cleaner experience since moving to Utah. I handed over a couple shirts, an old blazer that I intended on donating and 2 dresses. I asked what their rates were since there was nothing posted. She looked at me ad though she had never in her life been asked how much it would cost in advance. I said well can you tell me how much this will cost? I'll take a ballpark figure. She said it might take a while and looked super annoyed and confused. By now my son was squirming and done. I said nevermind, I guess just surprise me... and surprise me she did. I went to pick my things up and it was $100. Seriously?!?!?!?! What a joke! I was only cleaning 3 of those items so I could donate them. And of course they wouldn't let me partially pay and take the items I still wanted. So all is a lose now because $100 is more than the clothes are worth to me. This is appalling to me. I get reminder emails all the time to come pick up my clothes and I've responded to the emails letting them know of my experience and asking them to remove me from their emails and no response and no such luck. This place is a joke. Do not waste your time going her. I have had two bad experiences with this place (I should've dropped them after the first incidence). I went there to have some alterations done on 3 pairs of pants (1 pant leg on each). Of course they couldn't give me a price quote because they don't know the price of anything there. I got my bill and it was for $60. I was shocked. Come to find out, not only had they charged me for hemming all of the pant legs, they also dry cleaned the clothes, which I had not requested; that was incident one. The most recent incident was related to a special they had. 2.19 for pressing of mens shirts, minimum of 4 shirts (I had 4 shirts). I presented the coupon, as requested, at the time of dropping my clothes off. The sales girl waved it off and said "yeah, I trust you." I go to pick up the shirts and I asked the clerk if the priced dictated the sale price. She said no and proceeded to try and fix it. After calling her manager, she figured out that only 3 shirts had been pressed and one had been dry cleaned. Why the hell was it dry cleaned?! They were all the same type/brand of shirt. Obviously the sales clerk didn't listen to me when I dropped them off. I had to end up paying the full price because she couldn't ammend it. This place also does not have the capacity to print an itemized receipt, nor to tell you up front what the price of items will be. Also, EVERYTHING is way overpriced an expensive. Save yourself the hassle and go ANYWHERE else. read more

I live in an apartment nearby and love the fact that this location has both a laundromat and dry cleaning services. What I find convenient and affordable is to use the self serve laundry facility to clean my larger items like comforters since the machines are big enough. While I'm there, I usually drop off a couple items that require dry clean only and pick them up the next day. I've found that doing my laundry here makes it much easier and faster and is affordable compared to other places that I have tried. read more
