I like this laundromat in that the equipment is all new, it is not usually crowded, the staff is…read morereally nice, it is (IMPORTANT) well-air conditioned (I am a winter girl and I strongly dislike the summer and the heat) -- but there is one MAJOR issue with it -- no matter what washer I use there -- and I have sensitive skin and use unscented, dye-free detergent, and my clothes always come out smelling like weird perfume. I've actually been unable to get the smell OUT of some clothes so I stopped going there, because it smells like old lady perfume or something and is strong. Once, I did my sheets there and had to re-do them all, because my bed smelled like a herd of old ladies or weird white ladies with bad taste from department stores were sleeping in it. I used to always go to the other one on Main Ave. -- which has a severe lack of washers because the staff uses them and does not care if there are none for customers and will let stuff sit in dryers for a considerable amount of time, even if people are waiting to use them. They suggested East Ave, and like I said, great facility, great people, but I don't understand the perfume smell. If it happened once, I'd not complain -- but it happened more than once, and I really don't like the time waste of doing laundry as it is, so having to do it twice is just painful to me. Maybe they'll look into it. I know I have a bit of a wolf nose, but it IS strong and my husband noticed it, too, since I never smell like old white lady.

There are huge dryers and ample folding tables. All equipment is very easy to use with detailed instructions. There's plenty of parking in back of the business and it's next door to CVS with a large parking lot. The on-site bathroom is immaculate as everything else. The Fabricare people came to my house to give me an estimate and saw both how difficult it would be to clean the valances and how badly they needed cleaning. Eventually they took down one valance, including the wood mounting, took it back to their shop, disassembled it, cleaned it, and reassembled it. When it came out well they then did all the rest of the drapes and valances. It all came out beautifully. Not surprisingly it was not cheap to do all of this, but it was definitely worthwhile - they did careful and excellent work. If I hadn't found them I probably would have had to replace all of the window treatments. I highly recommend them.

He left the suits in the bag until we were getting dressed for the wedding. When he put the first one on he noticed a bunch of little burn holes in the jacket (he has only worn this suit once and that was about 3 weeks ago) so he decided to put on the other one and it had the exact same issue. We went to the wedding and then on Monday went back to the cleaners and told them about it and they told my father that he has a moth issue and they came in that way. He asked if they came in that way why didn't they call to ask if he still wanted them cleaned? The guy responded that they don't look they just tag them. My father is a reasonable man and all he wanted from them was to say they would call customers if they see something like that in the future but the owner was extremely rude and said that its not their responsibility. If I knew my dad was bringing them to a new cleaner I would have seen the two previous reviews and told him to stay away because he has never used yelp. I just hope this helps people decide not to go here and have their clothes ruined in the future.

They tried to clean it again but managed to ruin the shirt even further - then refused to accept the stains happened when the shirt was with them. This is the second time this has happened - so I asked the owner what he was going to do about it - but he refused to even discuss it telling me I must have done it. He then pushed the shirt back into my hands and told me to leave his store! The least I was expecting was an apology - and a store credit - but I basically got thrown out for taking an issue to the owner. Plenty of choice in town - never going here again.
