Great selection of Cigars. They stock various types of OpusX, pricey but a nice selection. I grabbed 20 of their house rolled cigars, short 54/4, pyramids, and 54/6. In maduro and Connecticut shades. All delicious, with notes of nut, cream, and smooth profile. They burn nice and even, and all of them were under $10, a great price for this quality. The indoor leather lounge seating looked comfortable. The customer service was friendly and efficient. Their humidors kept all the cigars in excellent shape. I'm seeing some people here leaving negative reviews due to customer service and based on my experience I have no idea how that's even possible. Maybe look in the mirror? So it was a long day at work for me and I decided I need some sticks to fire up with a nice scotch for later in the evening. I figured let me try out this place, since I've been going to Village Tobaccanist for years now, let me spread my money around in the Covid-19 environment. I step in the joint and I am not even there 20 seconds and the guy yells at me, "Hey!! MASK!!" Now, I find it extremely ironic to even wear a mask into a cigar lounge/seller in the first place, but I had left it in the car so I went outside to get it. What really troubled me was how the guy had zero social skills and customer service skills. "Hey! MASK!" You must be joking right? No, "hey sir, you forgot your mask, if you need one let me know," which I say nicely to people as they enter MY place of business. "Hey, MASK" definitely didn't go over well with me. So when I came back masked up, I told the guy, "a hey sir you forgot your mask would have been better." Do you believe he then gave more of an attitude with an "excuse me?" I say you heard me. He repeats, excuse me? I don't know, maybe he has a Napolean Complex or some other mental issue, but after that I said you heard me and repeated it just in case...then I said you know what...I'll go to the OTHER cigar place, which by the way, had about 8 people in there to his none. I have seen these guys at beer festivals and they've always had great cigars. I came into the patchogue location with a few friends and was recommended a great hand rolled, but when I went to pay I was told I couldn't stay to enjoy it. They have a $10 minimum to stay and enjoy a cigar. Now as an avid cigar smoker i probably would have bought another cigar, but I was so disgusted I left. I have been to some great cigar lounges in nyc and long island and never in my life have I been told I have to spend a certain amount to relax and enjoy myself. I will never come back to any of their locations nor buy cigars from them again. Such a shame that they just lost all my following and my business over a ridiculous rule. read more

Went in to take a look at there pipes and pipe tobacco selection. Pipes are not top line, I'm assuming Chinese. I bought 1 and it was actually a decent smoke. Cost about $40, the also have so some cheap corn cobs also. Pipe tobacco selection is limited. They have a few tins of Dunhill but most is there own local brand. They have Natural and Black Cavendish, vanilla and Cherry flavor. I've tried all of them and they are ok. I would like them to carry some decent, popular tins like Lane, Captain Black in addition to the Dunhill. One of the real nice thing about this place is you can have a smoke in the shop. read more

While the selection is great, the sterile environment led by a shop owner and employees that don't even thank you for your purchase, the environment is lousy.
