It's been a long time since going to the theater. This was relatively straight forward with ticket sales inside for the first stop. Snacks were next and yes, they will set you back quite a bit. A XL popcorn and two large sodas were $23. Ouch. The youngish staff were all pretty friendly and the place was decently clean. The bathrooms were also well kept. I like this theater the best. It's very handicap accessible and the staff are usually friendly. However, the Ladies restroom is poorly designed getting in/out. I rarely buy anything from concessions but they seem to do a good job getting through the lines quickly. read more

We have been here a few times since they opened back up. It's close to home which makes it really convenient! The staff is really nice and accommodating, the facilities are clean, and the pricing is about average. I do wish they'd upgrade their seats. I'm sure this is a large expense and a lot of people are still recovering from COVID losses, but it would be really nice. I also wish they did a cheaper matinee. Those two things are the only reason we choose to sometimes do movies with the kids downtown. The matinees are cheaper, which makes it more affordable for a family of five, and the seats are far more comfortable. When it's just my husband and I this is a great place to catch a movie. For the whole family - we will continue to go downtown. read more

My friends and I go here quite a bit and it's always been great. But, there is a movie coming up to be played in a few days and no one can tell us what time it's going to be on! I've called and asked a worker at the theater and no one knows. If your advertising a movie, the time would be a good idea! read more

OVERCHARGED!!! I had two adults and two students and the theater refused to give student discount because we didn't have student IDs. The kids are obviously students and we have never had to present student IDs. They charged us 4 adult tickets. We just saw Lion King 2 weeks ago and were given student discount no problem. I said,"When did this ID policy go in place?" His response,"Unfortunately, today." How about placing a sign up and forewarning people that "On so and so date, we will be requiring student ID in order to receive the discount? When implementing a new policy like this, you should always give a heads up before you drop that bomb as the patron is paying. And if students suddenly need student ID when they never have before, they should wait until the school year starts so kids can ask offices for the IDs. read more

Our go-to movie theatre Only because it's so close to our house. They have a points system but I always forget to sign up for it! The popcorn is really yummy!! Taste even better with the extra butter you can put on. They let you order tickets on their website in advance if your into that sort of thing as well. The seats are average cloth not your recliner leather style and the projector screens are average size as well but it's a small theatre nothing too fancy. The bathroom are always clean and lots of room to take a dump No arcade games in this theatre to keep the kids busy if you have to kill some time, but there is a cute little coffee stand that serves hot and cold drinks yumm! The best thing about this theatre is honestly the location, it's right by a mechanic shop so you can have your car oil changed while you watch a movie. It's also by McDonalds and Starbucks even Twigs Bistro! Great places to grab a bite after a movie. One thing of a warning I would not advise watching a movie at night we had one of our cars broken into, window smashed and everything. Just because it's up north location doesn't mean theres no ghetto car prowlers around. Usually there is nobody watching movies in the morning so that is the best time to go. read more

I watched Wonder Woman here and the theater was almost empty. It was very quiet during the movie. It was very visually stunning. Wish I watched it in 3d. I definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to watch a movie. read more

Clean, big theatre. But can hear the theatre next door it is so loud we can hear it over our movie theatre. Hummm. First, we wanted to buy a bucket of popcorn and two bottles of water. They wouldn't let us. Said have to buy two drinks in cups to get the bucket. I don't want to pay for soda drinks to fill them with soda fountain water, i prefer bottled and I want a bucket of popcorn, nope because of inventory its not allowed. Staff is friendly & theater clean but today they were greedy. I decided to take a long lunch by catching a movie. Used a gift card deal that was texted to me for this place. $8 for a 11:50am matinee then bought a $4.50 drink but was stopped at ticket guy because a had my healthy sandwich in my hand. I immediately went for. A refund and tossed my drink. I did read the warning on the door but thought for sure know one would mind as Monday matinees have like 5 people attending. So I drove down to Northpark Regal for the 12:10 show. Used my rewards card and got a free small popcorn, $2 candy and bought a coke $3 oh yeah my ticket was $8.50 and they didn't say anything about my sandwich. Love this theater! Senior discount starts at age 55 and it has been my go to since I hit that magic age plus it is close to home. Wish they would show more indie films but they do occasionally, so I don't have to go downtown as often. I really like the Coke freestyle machine too. read more

I went to take my girlfriend to the movies for a night out. Both of us are a year removed from highschool and are both over 18 but she didn't have her I.D. on her. I didn't think it'd be an issues to see a rated R film. When she said she didn't have her Id to show the employee she offered alternatives like her birthday on facebook, even a picture of her infront of 18 candles with the caption "happy 18th birthday". They said no that won't work but you can see another film. I was outraged. There are plenty of theaters in spokane and we chose to spend our money here. I guess our money wasn't good enough or they have enough business as it is. Long story short we went down to north town they happily accepted our money without even asking for ID's. We had a great night out and will never recommend that theatre and definitely will never be back. Thank you. read more

The options for food and treats are awesome - no surprise, but the best part of Village Centre Cinemas is that it is so large, extremely clean (all of the time), a beautiful building, with comfortable seating! It was a 3 Stars but since they quit playing commercials before the movie starts I give it 5 Stars. My girlfriend and I go o the movies 2-3 times a month. This is our place of choice. It is a few dollars cheaper, you butter your own popcorn, the the theaters are reasonably clean. Overall, a pleasant experience. The manager Kimberly has no common sense. A phone was left in a theatre and she refused to assist with getting the phone. Then when asked her first and last name so the general manager could be contacted about her non actions she refused to give that information. She made statements that were untrue about the person requesting to go into theatre to get the phone claiming they were aggressive, when in reality they were extremely calm and asked to show her where they were sitting and she refused to assist. Just spent 150.00 at this theatre and with the customer service from the manager I would never recommend to go there again. Manager Kimberly made us sit here until midnight to get phone, when it could of been a quick walk to the seat and get the phone and walk out with no disturbances. Not a good way to treat customers. Kimberly also said the theatre was full. I finally just walked back to the theatre when no one was there and to my surprise there was no one sitting anywhere by the seats we dropped the phone. I walked directly to the seat where the phone was dropped made no disturbance picked up the phone and left. I was in and out in 5 seconds. Kimberly refused to let us walk in saying she was concerned about bothering other customers. There were no one 5 rows by where we sat. She has no concern about customer service, just how to control people. Horrible experience would not recommend this theatre as the management has no common sense. All we asked is to look and see if anyone was sitting there. We would never want to disturb anyone, but she said no and told us we had to wait over 2 hours to get our phone. read more

Nice movie theater. Good location to go to if you are worried about an opening day movie selling out. Chances are you can get into a showing opening day here. Does get a bit busy on weekends and holidays. Nearby Rite Aid makes it easy to buy cheaper candy to bring in with you in a purse. read more

Although movies are no longer cheap, village centre cinemas has better prices than any other movie theatre in Spokane. Their employees are always friendly and they have the best soda machines! I only wish they offered more times for all movies instead of just some. read more
