What we got!! wrong sizes wrong color wrong fittings so want our money back. Allan on the phone Cheeky cheeky on phone calls basically laughing at me so no money no blinds rob you!!! My last review appears to be missing but this is now the 3rd time these have been fixed. They have…read morealso rearranged out appointment multiple times before this third fitting. Today the pelmet was allegedly refitted however the marks and dents are still exactly the same as they were in the seocnd so I don't think they have actually refitted these after all so have lied to us. They have already refunded us 50% so are in agreement that it's shoddy service but we are now looking for a full refund so we can go elsewhere. Compare the following images: SecondFitting.jpg which was from the second fitting and IMG_4743.jpg which is from today (3rd fitting) SecondFittingChip.jpg which was from the second fitting ( and IMG_4749.jpg which is from today (3rd fitting) and IMG_4749Chip.jpg which highlights the area I am discussing. You will note that both of these comparison images have the same issues now as they did in the last fitting. In the first there is a black mark on the corner which was made in the factory (not us). In the second you will see ill-fitting corners and a chip in the join. In both these comparison pictures I can assure you it is the same corners of the same windows which leads me to believe these have not been replaced as promised. I cannot tell if Shades are trying to pull the wool over our eyes by not fixing the issue and hoping we won't notice or are genuinely just inept at fixing customer complaints, it could very easily be both.Compare the follw

This is a relatively small blinds shop situated on Clarkston Road that I was dragged into about a…read moreyear ago. The story goes that the mother suddenly decided she wanted all blinds in the house and was going on secret surveillance mission to investigate when my dad was working. On one of these surveillance/investigative missions, I was recruited under the guise of 'going for lunch'. This did eventually involve lunch but first there was a forty minute trip to here. The staff were extremely pleasant and very chatty. However, I did feel they were rolling out the sales patter a little bit too much. Though, the mother didn't notice thing and thought they were just being very helpful. While I thought I recognised it as trying to secure a sale; something which I reckon I can sniff out pretty easily after almost a decade of working in customer service roles in one form of another. Despite the smallness of this shop, they did have a decent range of stock and products which was nice. The prices, I think, were reasonable; although this is not an area which I have much experience in and one which the mother seems equally ignorant in. In the end, no blinds were bought so I'll let you make of that what you will. Worth having a look and definitely a chat with the staff if you are considering the purchasing of blinds.
