Daughter has taken the Drawing class for a year now and says, "this is the best" often. In past few months, we also signed her up for Painting, which she is also enjoying, and most recently the American Cursive class, which will definitely be a boon to her future educational output (not to mention career). All of the teachers are highly qualified and amenable. There is always amazing artwork displayed on the wall (we have purchased two), and the Center also hosts regular meetings of the Ocala Art Group. A kudos to the director of this school for her seemingly boundless energy, diversity of class opportunities, and devotion to our Central Florida art community!

Wildwood Kitchen and Bath just finished replacing our old vanities in the master and guest…read morebathrooms. We really appreciated their showroom. We were able to actually see samples of the cabinets, counter tops and and faucets. We decided to pick the counter top material from their "remnants" to save some money. So, they took us to the yard and storage area to make our selection. We decided on quartz for the material. We ordered white cabinets, but when they arrived from the manufacturer they were "ash white" (light grey). Wildwood Kitchen handled the problem without a single complaint. I was very impressed with the removal of the old vanities and the installation of the new ones, the installation of the new quartz tops and undercounter sinks and the final plumbing. All of this was done as scheduled. Each person arrived within the time range that we expected. Employees were efficient, friendly and professional. Every job is different, but my experience with Wildwood Kitchen and Bath deserved the 5 star rating.

When I got my quote, it actually ended up being $105 per square foot after installation. The installation is almost doubled the cost of the granite itself. It's absolutely insane. These men are ripping people off because they believe they're elderly and don't know any better. They service the villages, which is a retirement community and they pray on people who have no knowledge of how the business works. I've been in construction my entire life. I know how the business works when you quote $45 a square foot you don't jack it up by $60 to make extra money. It's absolutely Ludacris please do yourself a favor shop around and get quotes elsewhere. I got a quote on the exact same products from another company and it was 40% less than these guys for the exact same granite.

I've used their services four times so far and couldn't be happier with the results. Karine approaches each project with a keen eye; partnering frame, glass, and mounting which perfectly complements each individual piece. In one instance, she completely changed my mind from what I had originally thought I wanted and her suggestion was totally on the mark. The shop also offers restoration of damaged works. If you have a piece that you hold close to your heart and feel it is beyond salvaging, bring it in and get Karine's opinion. She'll give you an honest and forthright opinion and you might be pleasantly surprised. I have high standards and always hope those standards can be met, but am usually disappointed with the results. Karine and her staff not only met my standards but exceeded them and then some. Highly recommended!

I arrived at the Ol' Packing House in Eustis under rather unusual circumstances. You see, I am a…read moreghost, and unfortunately, I had become permanently attached to a piece of antique furniture. Thus, I had no choice but to visit the shop and investigate the source of my earthly entanglement. What I discovered was a charming collection of furniture and curiosities at wonderfully reasonable prices. The selection was pretty decent, with plenty of pieces to browse through, and the staff were absolutely fantastic--friendly, helpful, and far less frightened of me than most living people tend to be. I will say, however, that the interior was hotter than the deepest chamber of the underworld. Thankfully, they had fans running and water available, which helped keep both the living and the dead from melting into the floorboards. Naturally, I ended up purchasing a piece of furniture of my own. Unfortunately, it came with a rather unpleasant surprise: another ghost was haunting it. I was forced to consult a priest, prepare the proper incense, and conduct a full spiritual removal ceremony. After several hours of chanting, negotiating, and threatening to call upon forces far older than mankind, we finally discovered that the malevolent spirit wanted only $3.75. A bargain, really. All things considered, the Ol' Packing House is well worth visiting. The prices are excellent, the staff are wonderful, and there is a good variety of furniture waiting to be discovered. Just bring a bottle of water, prepare for the heat, and be sure to inspect any antique furniture carefully. You never know what--or who--may be included in the purchase price.
