Great place to send your children for an education located in the heart of Malvern . Wonderful…read moreteaching staff and facility with unique glass offerings

I spent four years in this nightmare of secondary education, taking shit from nuns, pampered…read moresuburban girls, and my own parents. I used to imagine no one really likes their high school. But when I see Villa girls in Philly, they often exclaim in gushing tones, "Wasn't it the BEST time of your LIFE! Don't you MISS it?!" Abso-fucking-lutely NOT. I always said the best thing about Villa was Malvern Prep down the road. Between the pressure to excel in academics, play sports, and cram 51,000 activities into your schedule, I hated my life from ages 14-18. I'm not some Columbine outcast either. I made good grades, had a group of friends, did charity work and was in the school play, choir, and volunteered. Villa Maria's school policies were to repress creativity, demand conformity, and always look picture-perfect in your pervert's dream Catholic school uniform. Villa takes the credit for the natural tendencies of excessively parented, upperclass white girls; which is to achieve. It has nothing to do with the school or their ridiculously quaint ideas about education. Don't send your girls to Villa. If they are smart, they will do well in any school. If they need help or are not inclined to Lockean "tabula rasa" classroom environments, they will wither and die under Villa's oppressive regime. Up with education, down with Villa.

School diggers If you want to move to WCASD to get away from…read morebullying. DON'T. We moved from DE however, would never have moved here if we knew about the culture of the district. Facts about bullying. (1) Nationally accepted statistics: 1 in 5 or 20% of all children are bullied in school. (2) 20 percent of WCASD 11,500 students equals 2,300 students. (3) On average, 492 (29%) WCASD Parents/Guardians Surveyed in 2014, 15, 16 & 17 said their child(ren) were bullied. (4) In the following years (2014, 15, 16 & 17), WCASD reported to the PA Safe School Act, the following # of bullying incidents: Year. # of incidents 2017: 5 2016: 1 2015: 1 2014: 0 (5) WCASD drastically under reported bullying incidents to the State of PA. Why? (6) Superintendent, Dr. Scanlon, has stated that WCASD definition of bullying differs from the definition which parents, guardians envision as bullying. Does Dr. Scanlon & the WCASD have the right to tell us that our child has not been bullied when by our definition they have been bullied? "About 71 percent of school shooters felt "persecuted, bullied, threatened, attacked or injured" leading up to their rampage, according to Secret Service data." "A few school shooters have even acknowledged bullying as a driving force behind their attack." (a) Newsweek. Before you move to WCASD, do your homework. Just because a district has a reputation for students to getting high grades does not always mean it is a Great School District.
