We stayed during the week of New Years and had our family in Mexico join us ranging from several young ones to older folks. It was the perfect location to meet our needs of a large family gathering that was easy to get to and close to local towns where we could explore. There are so many things that we loved about this property and we can't wait to get back again! There's a little something for everyone from games, hammocks, to cooking in the wonderful and authentic cocina. The view, wow and then we were fortunate to have a full moon during our stay which just added to the beauty and lights at night. The spaciousness of the home, accommodations to meet our large group needs and openness would be hard to meet anywhere else. The kids of course loved the pool, we couldn't get them out! As far as the staff we saw the property manager on our first day, he walked through everything with my husband and was readily available when we arrived to show us up to the place. He responded quickly if anything arose during our stay. The cleaning staff was really great. Above and beyond tending to cleaning and tidying up for us. Everyone was super friendly and we felt safe and secure on the property. I wish we would have been able to experience the chef services but we chose to do our own cooking as most of our family is local to Mexico and are some of the most amazing cooks! But I am certain any chef services would have been great as when we arrived we were greeted with some tasty Guacamole and Pico de gallo. Since our stay was pretty short and we were more focused on family time we didn't partake in any of the available adventures but hopefully will do that next time. We explored Lo de Marcos (closest to the property, small, the beach is fun), San Pancho (my favorite of all the towns, cool hippy town like Saylulita but close and fun), Guayabitos and La Penita (we like the restaurants and shopping here). two of which my husband and I have been to several times. We enjoyed the diverse and differences of each town. We felt safe and relaxed on our stay and hope to return again. Working with the home owner prior, during and after our stay was wonderful and professional. The house is beautiful and we look forward to returning soon. Tip- Get your groceries at one of the big super markets in Nuevo Vallarta on your way to the Property. There are some small markets in a few of the towns near but it's best to shop on your way. read more

Villa Boda met all our needs. There was plenty of space for everyone, the place is just beautiful, the kitchen had just about everything we could need to prepare meals or snacks. The daily cleaning staff and the property manager were absolutely the best. The villa is perched up on a hill about 10 minutes from the beach. You can see the ocean from the villa. Villa Boda is easy to get to from the airport. And there are several big supermarkets along the way to shop for groceries. We've been to Puerto Vallarta several times but this time we wanted to venture North, away from all the tourists and we're glad we did. The beaches are either empty or just a few people, locals on holiday and a few tourists. There were plenty of fun activities to do in the area. We rented a high clearance car from Hertz and it was very easy to get around (some of the smaller towns have dirt roads). We are considering coming back with both our entire families for a family reunion. In addition to Villa Boda there are currently two other villas for rent. read more

We had an absolute blast at Villa Boda. The house itself is perfection. It's beautifully set up to very, very comfortably host at least 8 people. All the bedrooms are super comfortable, have AC and fans, a beautiful view and their own unique decor. The living areas and kitchens have everything you could want, from fresh cold water dispensers, ice makers and every cooking appliance you could need to USB hookups, WiFi and safes. The views are beautiful, with a great view of the ocean and several comfy lounge areas around the house. We used all the staff available and they were all excellent professionally and personally very sweet people, from the housekeepers to the chef, to the masseuses. I would return in a second! read more

We have stayed in Puerto Vallarta and San Pancho (San Francisco) numerous times in homes, condos and hotels, and have loved every trip and every accommodation. But this, a bit further north and away from "the madding crowd," is totally different. Truly a magnificent property with views right to the ocean. Quiet, calm and beautifully appointed, with one of the biggest dining tables we've ever seen! Great pool/garden area. A very short trek to Sayulita or San Pancho for the days that you think you may want to leave this paradise! Terrific staff and a concierge who will attend to your every need. You absolutely cannot go wrong booking your stay here, and we plan to have many more. Jon, the owner, is always available to answer any question you may have prior to your stay, and that is what actually sealed the deal for us. This place is a hidden gem! read more

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It is perfectly equipped with every amenity you could ask for. Every single room is a master suite. Mine had an indoor/outdoor shower which is beautiful and fun. Wifi works great, AC works great and filtered water throughout. Which was a concern of mine going in and wasn't a problem ever. I began my day with a swim in the pool each morning. We were down there for an anniversary celebration with 2 other couples. The owner of the property arranged a chef for us for breakfast and dinners. She could not have been more accommodating, professional and her English is excellent. The food was fresh and delicious with a great variety every day. The town of Lo De Marcos is a 5 minute drive and there is a great beach there. Not crowded, easy to park and lovely little beach cafe. It is basic so don't expect anything fancy. Very cute community with small restaurants. The town of San Pancho or San Francisco is another 5 minutes up the road and that is really special. Great local shopping, restaurants and town square. If you are looking for an authentic Mexican vacation with all of the luxuries of the Four Seasons this is where I would stay. Cannot wait to return. read more

The property and the view are absolutely stunning! We loved our stay at Villa Boda. The property is big enough with two wings, my hubby and I stayed in one and our teen daughters and their friends in the other. We felt safe and taken care of. The housemaid and pool cleaner showed up every morning and the pool was always heated just perfectly. The chef's, Arciela, cooking is out of this world. Best food we've had in quite some time. San Pancho (hidden treasure) is only a 10-minute drive from the house and it's a busy little town with great restaurants, family oriented, and surfers. Sayulita is about a 20 minute drive from Villa Boda, and it's a busy town with a vibrant night life. We will definitely be returning. read more

Villa Boda is a phenomenal property. It's even better in person than in the pictures! Very peaceful, private and relaxing but also close to several fun little beach towns with nice shops and beachfront restaurants. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to get away and relax in true Mexican style. My favorite part about the experience is that you truly feel like you are in Mexico and not some Americanized colony in Mexico. Additionally the owners have a very thorough list of suggestions for places to go and things to do while you are there and are extremely helpful in planning whatever type of vacation you are looking for. read more
