There was water seeping out from the leach cover before and after they pumped. I had a plumber out to see what was going on and he said the system was completely full. Called Ryan, he came out a couple hours later and the leach field lid was dry and spotless! He also made a local recommendation for someone who could come inspect and service the system to ensure there aren't any issues. I highly recommend their service and will happily use them again.

We moved in 5 weeks prior, and had to have the Roto Rooter people service and repair our main drain line. During the process, the septic tank needed to get emptied ASAP. I called Tom's, and spoke to Lucy. She was very courteous, and quoted very high, including an emergency call fee. She explained that this was to cover all possible costs, since it was an Emergency Call, and there were many "unknowns." Jose came out within 1/2 hour. He got our septic pumped, and shared that there were few solids, which meant that it had been emptied recently. He inspected and reported that the tank and leach field were in good order. The job was done in a timely, professional manner. Jose and Lucy gave us a bill that was reasonable, and it included a discount as a gesture of relief, due to our circumstances. They told us that they considered our situation, and it warranted the price we were charged. I cannot thank the staff of Tom's Septic Tank enough, specifically Lucy and Jose, for coming to our aid - on a Friday afternoon, at the last minute. Grandfather, father, and son arrived on Saturday morning on a holiday weekend to begin the rescue operation on this old system, explained everything thoroughly, educated me along the way, and spent most of the past week digging, cleaning, upgrading, and getting the system working again . . . all in a spirit of good humor and respect for a widow with zero experience in this realm. In the process, they kept us functioning on a minimal use plan (no laundry) so that we had most of the creature comforts with minimal disruption to our everyday lives. They carefully covered holes in the ground to protect children, pets, and wild creatures from the ongoing work and used cameras and other electronics to assess the problem areas in a system that is now obsolete. They left the work area clean and neat, holes filled, dirt raked, septic system functioning. They promised to come back in a month to check the status of their work. Now to be sure that I do periodic maintenance going forward so there are no more emergency calls!! I sincerely appreciate this family-owned business, their knowledge and work ethic, and their kindness to me.

A bit pricey but not alot of choices. Was given a price up front and they kept to it or lees . They…read moreshould have sent a supervisor out to asses my tank before pumping because they would have seen it needs to be repaired and then do the pump out and performance test but I had to pay 2k for pumping and test. Now they will have to pump again to do the repair. Next project was the drilling for drainage test holes. They sent the 200 an hr supervisor to change the bit of the drill , could have been a lower rate labor type person, they're was already a engineer person on the job. Next project is the tank repair.
