Our experience here was nothing short of magical! They have the details in this place down to a T! Every single item in this place- and there are probably a thousand things- reflects an actual item in an episode ranging from the quirks of the individual offices to the loading dock area, pencil fence, memos hung all around, and more. It is the best rendition of an Office office I've ever seen outside of the show. The bartender was also epic! He was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the place and Reroll Tavern next door. He provided us with a ton of great information about the innumerable daily events both businesses offer regularly ranging from DnD training sessions to adult tea nights, trivia, karaoke, and more! You MUST visit! The drinks were hilarious and so perfectly unique and office themed. My Beets shot actually had beet juice in with the vodka. Very creative must see place.

Love the themed pop ups. What a tribute to Dolly Parton. So many cool set ups and props dedicated to her legacy. Loved hearing her music and remembering some of the classics. You will want to try the 40DD shot and the Jolene, a frozen Strawberry Margarita served in a cowgirl boot cup. They do have food, but bar bites don't come expecting dinner. Embrace your inner Dolly with: Singing karaoke (Sundays & Mondays) Best Little Game Show (Tuesdays) Trivia (Wednesdays) Music Bingo (Thursdays) Dolly Pop Up bar runs 1/26-3/16 Great drinks. Good times.

Went with some friends to the Twibar pop up last night and had a good experience, but nothing spectacular. The drinks are definitely overpriced for what they are. You can tell they tried hard on the decor, but it was just okay. Pretty cheap looking. This was only my second time at a pop up bar & the last one was cheap looking too. It was still a fun time, but wish I could go to a nice pop up bar where it doesn't look like they bought things from a garage sale and hung them on the wall. Service was friendly and quick considering how short staffed they were.

I've lived up north for so long and never knew Vignettes existed around here! They have also done cool fun pop up events. The Barbie caught my eye and I had to check it out. When you get there, the place is decked out pink (love it), so many photo ops and Barbie attire / anything pink is highly encouraged! We went on a Saturday and there was live music (all the classics from 90's and 00's). Our server was very friendly and once we were ready to order she held onto our card before we closed out the tab (not sure if this is a normal thing?) We got the Maliburger and the pretzel bites, the burger was unique because there was a slice of pineapple so the sandwich is sweet! The pretzel bites were a bit salty hence the name. Highly recommend getting a reservation through either their website or on Opentable. You will have to pay a $5 fee. I would keep an eye out for the next pop up event! These are fun to go to :-)

We had to go to Vignettes to celebrate The Barbie Movie. The decor was fun and photogenic. But I found the drinks overly sweet and the tables and chairs seemed cheap. It's fun that they do different interactive events, such as music Bingo, throughout the week and change out their themes monthly. However, once they grow I would look at investing in more quality table and chairs and providing more balanced cocktails for a more mature audience.

This was my first time visiting Vignettes popup bar, they were doing a Winter of Wizardry (Harry Potter themed popup.) I was very impressed with all the props and the massive animatronic dragon out in the lobby area. The staff was also dressed up to match the theme and the menu had a few fun themed cocktails. There was also a fun puzzle you could solve throughout the night for a small additional cost but there was a prize at the end! I'll be back to check out more of their pop ups in the future.

Vignettes is really fun! This is our second time visiting, this time for their Office pop up, and they always do a great job. With their attention to detail, you'll surely appreciate their touches on whatever you go there to see. We love The Office and from the entrance being like the Chili's Dundies to everything in the dining area, including classic images and quotes, we had a great time. I tried a couple of cocktails inspired by the theme that were delightfully ridiculous. And I don't know if it's a regular feature, but the Vignettes reservation was good for free entry to ReRoll Tavern next door.

Theme party ideas and decor is a 5 star. The ideas and cost are great. The DJ and music bingo is super fun. The ability to reserve times for a group is perfect. The drinks are ok they are themed to the event but none were a wow factor that I have to go back for another. this is more of a photo opportunity with friends and to has a quick drink the food is limited more like it was warmed up not cooked by a chef. So eat beige or after but come with a fun attitude and in you best theme wear.

If you like a good pop up bar, this place is for you. Vignettes is a full time rotating theme pop up bar. We just recently went to their Harry Potter Christmas pop up and had so much fun. Their commitment to decor is a serious undertaking and I was impressed. Even their servers dressed the part. You're paying for the atmosphere, but their drinks are pretty pricey for their size and flavor. But I'll give them one thing, they're strong. We did get to play a fun scavenger hunt/ escape room for an additional $10.

What a fun place! They have a six week pop up schedule, so when we heard they were doing The Office, we zipped right over. The menu was absolutely wack. But the drinks were surprisingly good. Who would have thought that baked beans in an old fashioned would create a nice Smokey sweetness, or that Italian dressing mixed with vodka and water would be the equivalent of a salad tasting Bloody Mary? The decor inside was amazing!!! So many little things all over to look at, and they had episodes on a loop to watch as well.

Visited for the "Just Another Picture to Burn" Taylor Swift pop-up and it did not disappoint! The space was very well-decorated for a mere pop-up--- vinyl records, photographs, themed walls for every album, etc. It was Bingo Night when we went and we had a lot of fun! Themed drinks are a must--- Majorita was so sweet and tangy! Mocktails are also available which is super convenient :)

A great stop for all those who loved The Office @vignettesbar The details of this pop up bar are crazy accurate. There is a post it note conversation between Kelly and Ryan, a CPR face in the drawer, the warehouse, and sooooo much more. The drinks also fit the show too well. The Michael Scott is a salad drink, the Kevin Old Fashion has beans!!!!

I came with my best friend and sister who love Chappell to the Chappell Roan pop up. The decor is cute, but the drinks are expensive and not good. The food was fine, but the "Chappell Roan" was sadly lacking. They had some amateur magician they were running instead of the advertised live music...and they even shut off the Chappell on the radio. If I just showed up, ok. Even with the overpriced food and drinks. But I had to actually pay to get in. What a waste of $21 in cover. The servers were even surprised that there was the random magician and told the owner several times that people were asking for Chappell music. One table near us even started singing music and they still didn't turn it on. We were here almost an hour before they turned the music on. To be clear, the servers were attentive and good. It was the whole situation with the magician/no music and the bad drinks that really sunk it for us.

The ambience is clean neat and not over crowded considering it is a bar in a liquor store. When I say liquor store I mean they carry mid to high end liquor with the unique ingredients that make your cocktail a tasteful event. You definitely will not find anything basic here. If you are a big mixology fan this is your place to taste something unique and different and the best part is the ingredients are on their shelf to buy. We sampled the fall menu with our group of 4 each ordering two different drinks each and sharing to taste. The bartender (so sorry I forgot his name) was very friendly, knowledgeable and engaging with us. Just a side note- they don't serve food however two tables bright food in so that is a great option. They are not on the menu but you only need to ask the bartender and they will help set you on your journey. Last note- the prices are mid range better than most for a great cocktail. Cheers!

That changed yesterday, when Diana Condori, the bar manager, was named a 2026 James Beard Outstanding Professional in Cocktail Service semifinalist. As we love supporting restaurants and bars that receive that kind of recognition, my wife and I headed to Fern Bar that evening. I was especially curious what exactly a "sugarcane and agave bar" meant. We arrived around 5:30pm and found only a handful of guests inside. After congratulating the bartender who first served us, he mentioned that Diana was working that night and would stop by to meet us. During our conversation, Diana shared that she didn't even know she had been nominated. She woke up Tuesday to a call from owner Bryan Arri, who said he had big news and was coming over. Her first thought was that something terrible had happened--like the bar had burned down. Instead, he showed up with coffee and told her she was a James Beard honoree. Diana is originally from Bolivia and has lived in Kansas City most of her life, with the exception of time spent in San Francisco during the pandemic. She further refined her cocktail craft through local pop-ups in Kansas City under the name Condor's Cove. When Bryan was preparing to open Fern Bar, he reached out to bring her onto the team. The printed cocktail menu immediately reminded me of the Monarch and the Mercury Room--not surprising given Bryan's background at Manifesto and the Monarch. Thoughtful, intentional, and clearly designed for people who appreciate serious cocktails. We planned on having one or two drinks but ended up staying for three, thanks to an outstanding lineup and a memorable conversation with Diana. We tasted: * No Fly Zone - Rum, agave, pineapple foam * Mr. Collage - Smooth, elegant, egg-white cocktail * Three Negroni Lunch - Bitter, boozy, and beautifully balanced * Pendergast No. 4 - Complex and spirit-driven * It's Bananas - Banana liqueur with bright tropical notes * Off the Rails - Creative and well-executed rum/agave cocktail One downside of many cocktail-forward bars is the lack of food, but Fern Bar offers two varieties of mini burritos for $4--just enough protein to keep things balanced while indulging. Great concept, exceptional service, and truly memorable drinks. Check it out--and be sure to say hello to Diana.
