Last week, I was horrified when I stupidly spilt some food on a brand new silk dress, I dabbed at it, but there was a large stain that looked like grease, and I thought that was the end of my new dress. I decided it was worth a shot at getting it cleaned, but did not expect that anyone could actually fix it. I did my research and decided to try out View Cleaners in Ladera Ranch, as they appeared to be specialist cleaners. They recommended we try a Wet Clean as that was the best shot at removing the stain. I arrived to pick it up, fully expecting to be told that it didn't work out. Instead, I was thrilled to see the stain was completely removed, no color change or shrinkage to the dress. It was a miracle, I will go there and only there from now on!! read more

they're pretty expensive for the services they offer. I normally go to them because I like to have my limited edition/expensive activewear and most of my workwear dry cleaned. I brought them my favorite piece--my limited edition Snow Washed grey Lululemon leggings that I bought in Chicago. I didn't notice until I got home but instead of the beautiful marbled grey color they were before, they were white. I couldn't believe it and there was nothing I could do about it. I had to spend $110 and hours of my time looking online to find a replacement. I brought it up the next time I was there because I did not want this to happen to any of my other pieces and the woman just responded with "okay let us know next time". Like yes, I am letting you know now. They didn't even offer to try to fix it or look at it. Really poor customer service, I am super disappointed and will not be returning. read more

They do a good job, are quick and even text you when your clothes are ready for pick up. Friendly service, clean, nice, convenient to Covenant Hills. Only issue is it's $$$$. We just moved here from Laguna Niguel and went to the same dry cleaners for almost 5 years and they had great prices and all the other good stuff View has, but way less $$$$. I need to find a good place that has more reasonable prices. Just don't want to spend that on dry cleaning. We all have a budget after all. Update: I really like this cleaners. They are super helpful and friendly and do an amazing job with our clothes. They even deliver and pick up from my home which is super helpful because we have 2 young children and sometimes I can't make it to the cleaners. They can be a little more expensive than other cleaners like I said I my original review, but it's because they do use the best products and take extra good care of your clothes. We have a lot of nice, expensive clothes and I never worry they will come back to me ruined. They do a great job and the front desk staff and delivery drivers are very nice, helpful and friendly. The quality is fairly good, but found there is high and uneven pricing for same items. I had taken a couple silk shirts in, and as usual, they are a little bit more in cost at any cleaner, but the quality was good, so I decided to bring in a few other items: 2 women's blazers, a cardigan and 2 scarfs. When I picked up the items, I was astonished at the prices charged, and that they were different, for virtually identical items: Jacket/Coat: $11.70 Jacket/Coat: $9.75 Ladies' Misc. Scarf: $7.86 Ladies' Misc. Scarf: $8.61 Sweater: $9.94 The only difference in the jackets and the scarfs are the colors and brands, but fabrics are the same. I am not sure why the charges are different or why they are as high to begin with (how does it cost almost the same to dry clean a scarf and a blazer?). Either way, the high prices do not out weigh the quality and I cannot justify going back. read more

The reason you are to bring the coupons in WHEN YOU DROP OFF your drycleaining is so they can FIX the price to inflate price to accomodate and show on your receipt they discounted the 10%-20% or even the $10 or $20 coupon......EXAMPLE: you drop off a normally charged $20 dryclean items, you leave 20% off coupon then: They will show on your receipt that it was ORIGINALLY charged @ $25 and graciously gave you 20% off; when in reality they did not...... read more

This is my second time dropping off garments within a three month gap. I showed the cashier Yelp's 15% coupon offer. She looked at the ad so many times as if it was her first time seeing it or unaware of the discount. I'm not sure what she typed in her system but then she proceeded to get my supposedly cleaned garments. Trusting she honored the discount, I automatically paid the bill without thinking of how much the three items should cost. Then I noticed, the gown I had dropped off had a note stating there were stains they were unable to remove. The cashier said for me to thoroughly inspect my dress and if I'm not happy to bring it back. I then walked to my car with my three garments and receipt on hand. When I looked at the receipt, she did not apply the discount. I decided not make a fuss about it. Hmm, shall I return next time when I need dry cleaning? Is third time a charm? Well, there are three other dry cleaners in the surrounding area & which one other I have not tried. I may just go back to the farthest of the three which I have been to before. They have excellent friendly service, reasonable priced and gets the job done. If the owner is reading this...most customers critic every little aspect and especially in the type of business you are in. In this case, the cashier looked and read (not glanced) at the offer at least 5x as if it was a surprise to her. Also, the gown I had brought was not worth paying for that much if the stain were unremovable. Under further investigation, I discovered that View Cleaners was not charging their published rates but rather arbitrary rates per piece with little consistency. When I inquired into pricing, they stated that rates are assigned based on the BRAND of clothing. RIDICULOUS! A short casual silk dress was $20 and a long gown $18? Makes no sense at all. My wife stopped in here to get alterations that she needed done quickly and the owner was so nice, helpful, and kind. She had the dress ready the next day! Much better than Ladera Cleaners and Celebrity Cleaners. The customer service at those places were non-existent. I'm not sure what all the negative posts are for on here, but View Cleaners is great and priced competitively in the area unlike other reviews are suggesting. I have been using them if I do not have the time to drive to my regular Dry Cleaners in Irvine. View Cleaners charge 2 or 3 times more than other places. I mean this is just dry cleaning nothing special. They charge $7 for a shirt which is insane when others charge $2 or$3. Their service is mediocre. My only bad experience is that they cannot iron white shirts at all. Overall really dissatisfied. **** This is an update after dry cleaning posted a comment. Only reason I went there is because the dry cleaner is next door to my UPS mailbox. I have actually went out there maybe 10 times after I put this comment and paid $5 or $6 to iron my shirts that I bought brand new. Maybe you can pull those invoices too and put it in here. Very disappointed in the level of service received here. I brought in a black dress to get dry cleaned and upon receiving it, noticed it had been significantly faded and could not longer be worn. When asking what happened, the manager blamed it on sweat when the fading was all over the dress and most apparent on the side pocket and clearly this was not the cause. No refund was even offered for what I paid. Do not recommend bringing anything of value here! read more

I recently started bringing our clothes here (it's close to my work) after reading about all the charitable work the owner has been involved in. They have been really amazing so far. I brought my favorite silk blouse that had gotten stained and after I explained to the owner that another dry cleaner had been unsuccessful in removing most of it. He stated that they have the latest cleaning technologies and should be able to remove it and guess what? The stain was gone! As far as their pricing, they aren't necessarily cheap, but for the quality and great service you receive I definitely think it's worth it! I have been very impressed with their attention to detail and their customer service. And I really like the fact that the owner is very hands on and makes it a point to give back to the community. I don't know what's up with all these negative reviews. I didn't get anything dry cleaned here. But I called to see if they do alterations. The girl that answered the phone said her father does and he would be in after 4:00 and it's $25 for jeans with original bottoms. Made it seem like it was family owned. I went in at 4:30. A nice guy who I believe was the gal who answered the phones father took me back, pinned my jeans. I asked if I could pickup tomorrow as I needed the jeans for a trip. He told me he could have them done in an hour. I went back and picked them up, paid $25, and left. I had a great experience. read more

Buyers beware. This was my first and last time using this location. I brought my son's baseball pants (along with my son for measurement purposes) to be altered at the waist. I was quoted a price and given a ticket. After arriving home, I was called with a higher quote on the item which I agreed to since my pants were already in their possession. Unfortunately the pants were altered incorrectly and still fall off my son. I spoke with the owner (Pierre Cinar)- after having to request twice to speak to him and his managers were unable to fix the issues. I was shocked by the owner's lack of customer service skills and his short sighted vision in trying to earn/retain local business. I asked for either a refund or for the store to fix the item and a cash discount for the inconvenience. Apparently giving a customer a few dollars back to make up for a mistake is more than this store can afford. Stay away from this location and the one in Irvine as well as you will be subjected to arbitrary price changes from your initial quote and your item will not get serviced correctly. I will be taking my pants to another store in Ladera and they have been super nice! See response to the message the owner wrote back below- Unfortunately what Pierre wrote is false and that's why I posted my experience as people should be aware prior to dropping off their goods. I was quoted one price in the store with my son as a witness and then an increased price in a subsequent phone call when the pants were already at the store. The only person that terminated a phone was Pierre and that was when he finally decided to reach out to me instead of having his manager Manuela reach out. View Cleaners had every opportunity to turn this experience around and their delivery service is on my street often so we could have found an amicable way for the hemmed pants to be rectified- which is what I paid for and did not receive. We decided to try this place out, because our old cleaners went out of business. I have been using a dry cleaning service for over 15 years and have never had a single item misplaced. So, we sign up for the pick-up and delivery service. I had a very important job interview, so of course, I wore my best suit. After the interview, we had the suit and a dress shirt picked up at our doorstep. Well, neither of the items were returned. After speaking with Michelle, having the attendant look through every items in the store 3 times, it was determined that I ACTUALLY DIDN'T have my suit and shirt picked up. What a surprise that my $500 suit and shirt just walked off from my house and disappeared! No accountability and poor customer service = 1 less customer. read more

I got their name from my neighbor who continued to use them even after changing neighborhoods....when I found out that they had a free delivery service, twice a week if I needed it, it was a done deal:) View Cleaners did a superb job on our two recent orders. The shirts are crisp and padded with tissues and the suits are doubled bagged for travel. They contacted me to explain delivery and facilitated a system for pickup, a place to leave the clothing, both to be cleaned and the completed cleaning.
