Was offered a good price for grey coverage, highlights and a cut and have to admit I was delighted with the outcome. Laura has been there since November 2013 from what I understand and she is a fabulous hairdresser with exceptional people skills. The music was definitely on in the background and not overly loud like the last time I visited. I also noted that I wasn't offered a magazine to read whilst I waited for the colour to take in my hair although I was offered tea or coffee. The salon offers massage, facials, threading, sun bed, etc, in back rooms for privacy as well as so form of 3d lipo which seemed to be a very competitive price. I don't like people trying to sell me other stuff when I visit a salon though. The only reason I deducted 1 star was due to the constant smell of nail polish or remover fumes (not sure but it was very chemical-like and somewhat annoying. The nail bar is very popular and there was a constant stream of people coming in with and without appointments asking for their nails to be done. I'll definitely be going back and hope Laura is there for a long time to come. UPDATE July 2014 I had to update after my most recent visit yesterday. I was not impressed that there were screaming kids running around the salon whilst I was getting my hair done, one child actually scalded his arm on some styling tongs! Nothing was done to control the noisy kids and basically I'll have to just find another place to go next time as even though I was happy with my tints and highlights, I don't expect to have to put up with kids running around when I go to a salon, I go there for pampering and peace and not to feel like I'm in a zoo! I wasn't offered a magazine nor a drink, and had to ask for a glass of water. Also in the midst of a heatwave, there are NO fans in the salon and it was unbearably hot in there. Think about your customers, even if you're not bothered about the working conditions for your staff!

I told the girl what I wanted, showed a few pictures, and she did exactly that. She seemed confident and like she knew what she was doing. I would go back for a haircut because the price was write and I felt 'safe' in her hands. Unfortunately, the manicure was poor and although the girl was nice, it didn't seem like she knew what she was doing. She didn't file my nails evenly and I had to ask for one to be fixed because it was so clearly uneven (I didn't bother with the rest). She didn't push back my cuticles and she didn't do a good job painting them. Although it was OPI, the polish started to come off within 2 days. The plus was the paraffin wax as that did soften my hands for a few days but even then the girl didn't really ensure it was done correctly (I'd never done it before so only dipped one of my hands part of the way). Finally, the facial was ok. It wasn't any revelation and seemed a bit on the short side. It was the same girl who did the manicure (although the facial was first) and she didn't explain anything about what she was doing or what products she was putting on. It's supposed to be relaxing so you don't want chatting but I do like knowing what's going on! There wasn't any music or any candles in the room and I think that could really add a boost to the experience. Overall, I'd go back for a haircut but probably not much else.

Now since they do so much here I thought she could easily find services to spend her voucher on. They offer massages, tanning, make up, hair removal, hair cuts and hair treatments, waxing, facials and eyelash tints and extensions. For a gift voucher to a place offering such a variety of services I thought it would be a good choice. I hope she enjoys it.

Absolutely horrible service and even worst customer service. I was visiting and got my lashes done…read morewith them. They talked me into getting the 6 week lashes instead of the 5-7 day lashes (for a nice price increase). They didn't last me more than a week and a half before falling out and looking super patchy. When asked to receive a refund and showed image proof, they "investigated" and decided that I wasn't entitled to a refund and that they only guarantee they last 5 days. They stopped answering my emails and won't refund me the heavy price for the 6 week lashes I paid for. I have gotten my lashes done before with another company and those lashes lasted me well past 4 weeks. Have told all my friends and family to stay far away from this company.
