So, in the morning I went to the gym, which has a great range of equipment. It was nice and clean and bright, and I enjoyed my work out. The rest of the day I spent in the spa area, the pool was a good size, not really big enough for an exercise type swim, but fine for a relaxing one. The jacuzzi, steam room and sauna where all great, and the loungers round the pool were comfy. Before my massage I spent some time on the heated 'sunbeds' in the treatment area, they're very nice! They'll get your muscles nice and relaxed before your massage! I had the bamboo massage which was great. The therapist didn't check with me before hand so I almost ended up having a Swedish. The massage was great, nice and firm, and really relaxing. Therapist was always checking I was ok with the pressure which was good. Had an awesome day, will definitely be back.

The Healing Rooms offers massages, manicures, eyebrow threading, etc, but it also sells some great…read morelittle spa stuff such as inscense, bath bombs and healing stones. The shop has soft, warm lighting and relaxing music, along with the aroma of incense and bath oils, which makes it a nice experience to some in a shop. My favourite things there have to be the simple, Jade rings that only cost around £2- a bargin as they look great and are easy to wear everywhere. As for the place where they do the manicures, etc, they're actually a small section at the back corner of the shop, and they look comfortable and clean, but if you don't fancy people watching you while you have your eyebrows threaded, then you may be put off by the fact that it is not an enclosed room. If you're looking for a place to get pampered, or buy a gift for someone, then this is a great place to try.

The ambiance is calm and the music they had in the back while getting a massage was so relaxing and put me right to sleep. So they gave us a 10% discount which was satisfactory. We went for a couples massage after traveling for a bit thinking we would like to destress on our holiday. The facility is not very big, but it is modern and kept very clean. The staff was very polite and helpful. I arrived about an hour before my massage to use the steam room and unwind. The floor in the hot tub and stream room area was quite wet, so take care not to slip. I started in the steam room which was good sized and very hot. Note that this area is coed! I misunderstood the woman at the desk and thought it was female only. I entered the area naked and was the only person there. I was sitting in the steam room about 10 minutes before another woman came in wearing a bikini. She gave me a quick glance as she same in, but said nothing. A few minutes later, 3 younger guys came into the hot tub area outside of the steam room in bathing suits. Before they were able to come into the steam room, the other woman told me this is a mixed gender area and she believes that bathing suits are required. I quickly wrapped the towel I was sitting on around me before they came in. With the nakedness situation behind me, I showered in the women's locker room then waited in a robe in the relaxation room for my massage. My masseuse gathered me from the relaxation room and lead me to the treatment room. It was small, but very nice. She did a great job of asking me about areas of concern and focus for the message. She did a great job. I nearly fell asleep!

Relaxing, professional and well maintained As far as Spa's…read morego I would say that this is one of the best I have been to. I went to this spa using a voucher from Wahanda for a friend and me to go for a 2 for 1 Pure Relaxation Spa Day Experience. The wet facilities were superb with a huge Jacuzzi, Sanarium, Salt inhalation room and Aroma steam room. They also sported a pool, ice chute and some very unusual showers. Slippers and robes were provided as well as lots of lovely fluffy towels. The treatments were in warm relaxing rooms and the beauticians were well informed and professional. I came away gleaming from head to toe (I sampled a mini massage, facial and pedicure), feeling serene and with the impression that I had seen how the other half live. My only criticism was that the restaurant was a little pricey (our vouchers included lunch which was actually a set price lunch voucher, so we had to spend more) but I would highly recommend the pumpkin salad which was extremely tasty. All round this was a thumbs up from me.
