I am giving two good stars for the decor and location of the place However, the treatment I had (eyebrow threading) which is listed in the menu was rather painful and dissatisfying I had the worst 15 minutes of my life lying on the chair waiting for the therapist to finish the tidying up my eyebrows I am used to threading never in my life knew it can be done in an individual plucking technique - this to me is not threading Slow painful motion is not threading even when you are utilising a thread ! And was the pain worth it? Of course not I have the worst- looking eyebrows in London now And I paid the full £16 price even when I voiced my disappointment This might be a convenient place for eyelash extension or tint (did not try these treatments at lash bar but i am assuming they can be ok) but definitely not for eyebrows threading read more

I have never had eyelash extension before, but it is much better and more relaxing than I thought. The lashes are very light and no pain at all. I almost forgot that I have lash extension on my lashes haha. Jessey (if I am not wrong) did my half eyelash extension yesterday and I am really satisfied with her work. I recommend this salon for those who want to get their eyelash done. The people who work there are professional and the salon atmosphere is comfortable. I almost fell asleep when Jessey did my eyelash. It is not cheap, for half eyelash extension (natural) is 60 pounds, but it's all worth it. I do not mind to pay more as long they have good quality and professionally done. I am surely come back again. read more

Great salon, I've never had my eyelashes done before but would recommend it. I tried the express lashes which is on sale at the moment for £35 individual lashes added to your own, it is an open eye treatment so can be a bit tricky if you are a fidget like me. I could see the other girls getting the half or full set lying down and eyes closed. They looked quite peaceful so maybe this is something I would consider for longer wearing lashes. Plus you can get a glass of prosecco before the treatment which is always a bonus. It is not a cheap treatment as to take them off I need to pay £20. read more

Ok I've been twice so I really feel like I tried to give them a shot but sadly I won't be going back. The Bad: - The technicians don't wear masks and breath all over you the whole time. I have never had my lashes done at a place where they didn't wear a mask or some sort of face protection. She was breathing all over me the whole time and to make matters worse - I think she was sick because she kept coughing. Yuck! - The girl that did my lashes reeked of cigarettes. Her hands (which were all over my face) smelled horribly. - The gel pad that is normally put under your bottom lashes to keep them separated was incorrectly placed on my eye which caused redness and discomfort for several days after. - It's supposed to be a relaxing experience (that is how it has always been in the past with many places I have tried) but it was not relaxing at all. Between the hot breathe, coughing, cigarette smell and gum chewing she also pulled and tugged at my lashes making it uncomfortable at times. - Quality of lashes and technique of lash application just average or slightly below The Good: - I was able to get weekend appointments although now I know why - Responsive email - It's a cute place that looks clean read more

TBH I haven't tried their service, so not at the position to comment their techniques. Simply rating on my feeling with them. They are very timely when replying on email, which is great. However, when I arrived the store to take a look, the staff isn't very warm, didn't offer me to sit or anything, just handed me a pen to fill in a form, that's it. There isn't much advice or consultancy I could get. So I didn't book with them instead started looking for another place. read more

I hate giving a mediocre review of this shop because my technician was delightful and the store adorable but my lashes were falling out within hours of application. I have had lashes for months so I know they are shedding at a rate that's not then norm. read more

I tried The Lash Bar for extensions for the first time in October - opted for a half-set for £60. By the weekend i.e. 4 days later, over half had fallen out despite me not getting them wet, going in any steam rooms or using products on them. Went back for 15minutes maintenance as soon as I could which they did do for free however these also fell out within days. Same technician did them both times. SO thought I would give it one last chance and booked in for 15minutes maintenance a week or so later. The manageress did them this time and they stayed in! Hurrah! So, pleased with this result, I then booked in for the £50 half-set special for November last week. I asked for the manageress again seeing as they stayed in when she did them. The next day, my eyelid starting itching and a red lump appeared. By the end of the day, both eyelids were itching like mad. I went to my doctor for fear of an eye infection from having the extensions and was given medicated cream, told not to wear my contact lenses and not rub or touch them - great! By the Saturday both eyelids were swollen, red and very itchy so I had to try and soak off the eyelashes using oily based products but obviously some remained which I couldn't get off. I called them on the Monday first thing and explained and they told me to come in and they would remove them and although the manageress wasn't in until later that day, she would call me to discuss what happened. I reminded the ladies in the bar about this as I left but no-one called me back. I said that I would obviously like to have extensions done again but I need to know why I had the reaction that I did having not had it previously - did they change the adhesive or could it have been an infection from the salon. Doesn't look like I will ever find out now! Also, agree with the other reviews in that none of the technicians wear face-masks and very unpleasant experience to have someone breath in your face for up-to 45minutes at a time!!
