Therapists wear gloves and there is no dipping the stick back into the wax. The best thing about the set up is that there is a tv in each room where you'll be lying back and watching Sex and the City episodes while your wax takes place. An amazing distraction from the job at hand! The hot wax was quick, about 20 minutes, very painless and thorough. Best of all, it's a complete steal. Cheapest place I've found in London. After the sugaring, Tracy goes back with a magnifier/light and tweezers to make sure she gets all the strays. You'll almost be wavering between "when is this going to be done?" and "I'm so glad she's so thorough!". You can make an appointment by calling on the phone - I wish they would take appointments online, but it's okay. Cash only (at least for now), which is a bit of a bummer since I try to go cashless and avoid ATM fees, but I bit the bullet and took cash out just to come here.
