As you probably know, London doesn't exactly have the best Asian food. I mean if you ask around you'd probably be referred to the mandarin. There are other Vietnamese places in London but after trying them all I found the best one. Vietnam is on the east end of London and is right across from the Kellogg's factory. If you have trouble finding it, just open your window and follow the smell of corn flakes. The location is a little sketchy. Upon getting there you'll notice a sign to park out back. I haven't actually been there where there was not ample parking. After going in you'll notice the decor of what used to probably be a club of some sort. By this I mean disco lights that probably haven't been turned on since they opened. Other than that the place is actually quite big. Today i ordered a bowl of pho with everything in it. First thing I noticed was that the beef was well done. Not sure if I read the menu wrong but I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. The meat balls were homemade but rather small (no pun intended). The beef flank is something I could go on for days about. I wish I got a bowl with just flank steak slices in it. It was amazing. It was very tender as if they slow cooked it forever and then sliced it up and put it in the soup. You MUST try this. The noodles and soup were quite generic and nothing really popes out. I did notice that the sizes were not extremely generous. I think I ordered an XL and demolished it in minutes. One thing I will note is that the place is run by actually Vietnamese people. I mean, they don't speak English very well at all. If you're ever in London be sure to hit up this place! And then go outside and bask in the lovely smell of fresh made corn flakes. Mmmm corn flakes...

Vietnam Restaurant was very much a treat for my London trip. Though my trip was about trying many different places I chose to come here twice!! The meal was prepared and presented wonderfully. Delicious! Having some of the local beers available was a bonus.

Really enjoyed my bowl of pho here on a rainy day. Great service and reasonable price. Too bad they do not offer delivery.

Thee were some weird 'meats' in my soup; I'm perhaps not used to eating this sort of food. Go for it if it's what you like. I don't.

Best Vietnamese food I've had, better than places in Toronto. The decor isn't overly pleasing, but the food is terrific!

Nice, friendly, good service, but not the best Pad Thai I've ever had still pretty good though. Spring rolls were good.

Would have preferred Thai basil but I know that is hard to find Second the service was reasonable. We were acknowledged and the only wait we had was to get more water for tea as it suddenly got busy. The rest of it, considering one server, I thought she did well and I could see her answering other peoples questions Third the location is clean and quiet and considering g we came from a hotel, really easy to find. We will definitely let our local relative know about this place. Worth coming to.

We were in London visiting family and had a craving. Looked up for some suitable restaurants nearby and Pho 4 U was the closest. It was well worth the visit! It's a bright and airy restaurant, with a modern theme. Neat Vietnamese food-related images on the walls. It was clean obviously the owners take pride in it. We started with some spring rolls (A01) and fresh shrimp rice wraps (A02)with peanut sauce, followed by two medium bowls of rare beef Pho (P02) and a medium vermicelli with grilled chicken (B04). The spring rolls and rice wraps were perfect. We fought over them and wished we had ordered more. My 7 year old devoured the grilled chicken and extra spring roll with the vermicelli. The Pho broth was fragrant and tasty. The medium bowl was just perfect, added some fresh bean sprouts and a squeeze of lime and we were happy. Definitely will be a regular stop on our visits to London!

Was looking for a place for pho for a late lunch. From the reviews Dem Hai Dang looked like it…read morewould be a good option. Ordered up a large rare beef and tendon pho. The soup came out in a somewhat small metal bowl which in my opinion wouldn't be a large order anywhere else. I tasted the broth and found it to be quite lackluster without much fragrance or beef flavor. Tried the Vietnamese spring roll and although it was nice and crispy on the outside, the filling didn't have much flavour as it was pretty much just vermicelli inside without any pork, shrimp, or mushroom. Tried the dipping sauce and it didn't taste much of anything either. I've never seen a dipping sauce for Vietnamese spring rolls that was orange (what's up with that). Anyway wasn't to my liking and wouldn't likely return. There has to be better options on the London area for good pho.

Size small is $9.95, I personally found the portion appropriate. The soup to me was hearty for a Vietnamese soup, and I would order this again. Shakes are subject to availability, if the fruit they have is no good, they will not make it. The durian shake tasted great, I thought it was much better than the mung bean shake. Service & atmosphere: Standard Vietnamese restaurant service and table layout, not sure how else to describe it. Pricing: Not too expensive, one to two dollar signs.

This place doubles as a Vietnamese grocer and ran by an older couple. A small, simple, plain restaurant with reasonable prices. We were the only other couple there so service was quick. As a starter, we ordered the beef skewer which was very flavourful and delicious. I ordered pho, and my boyfriend, the vermicelli bowl. I was pleasantly surprised by the flavour of the pho. It tasted a little different than the most places. The toppings were a little skimpy but price reflects it. I was impressed by my boyfriend's vermicelli bowl, not because of the spring roll and bbq pork but cause of the other toppings and fish sauce. The flavours really hit close to home. The spring roll was like everywhere else, boring and blah, and the pork was the same. We were very happy with our meals. Dinner included one appetizer, one drink, two mains for $25, how can you lose?
