The Ultra Sound tech, took me right back and helped me on the table and explained everything she was doing. I was bruised pretty bad, and she was so gentle and kind to me. I hope UTI will let their employees what an asset they are to UTI. I would highly recommend this Imaging facility.

We just discussed my various issues and made a plan for the future. I cant wait to come back! The billing department will harass you for the money. I paid the $200.00 and contacted my insurance company, which told me that the billing department had coded the charge incorrectly and that my insurance had sent a check to Suntree for the amount. I had the check # and proof that it had been cashed, which I sent to Suntree. I was told that it had not been posted yet! Now Suntree had $400.00 in their pocket, and trust me, it was a hassle to get MY MONEY back! Finally, after calling several times, I was credited on my card. 2 weeks later, I received the same $200.00 bill, stating it was overdue! I have also had to wait for over 24 hours for a prescription to be sent to CVS! If you call and ask where the prescription is, they first tell you that they are TOO BUSY at the moment to send it in. The second time you call, they tell you that the Dr has not given the prescription list. This is 4 1/2 hours after your appointment. It was a Saturday, and Suntree closed at 2:00 PM, while CVS closed at 6:00 PM. Called CVS at 5:30, and nothing had been sent in! Called first thing Sunday morning and was told they were working on it! Waiting more than 24 hours for a prescription is unacceptable! Beware of Suntree Internal Medicine. Terrible practice!

It's short and I'm able to see out of the opening so l am good to go! The tech is super nice and made me teel very comfortable. The receptionist was nice and welcoming. Referral process: They declined our referral stating that the provider did not have the proper…read morecredentials---they didn't bother to call the provider and try to help. They sent us home. Numerous new referrals were sent via fax and Viera Diagnostic claimed they did not receive any of them when we called to follow-up. We asked if they would let us know when they received the referral and they stated that we would just need to keep calling to see if they received it. Eventually, I had to call the provider and receive a new printed copy through their portal to physically provide Viera Diagnostics. That should've been a sign! That whole debacle delayed us getting the x-ray. The appointment: The x-ray tech was kind and professional. Results: Results were never provided to my son's doctor. The x-ray was needed in a timely manner to make treatment decisions. At the appointment, they said it'd be 2-3 days. I never heard from them so figured they had sent results to the referring doctor, which is typically standard protocol (unless the patient or family is advised otherwise). Over a week later, I didn't hear anything from my doctor and when I called Viera Diagnostic Center to follow-up, I was told it'd be sent immediately (no apology or explanation was provided for the delay). However, nothing happened as our doctor still never received the images. Following a 2nd call and a request to speak with the manager, the results were suddenly received by our doctor. At this point, the x-ray was completed 1 day shy of 2 weeks ago. The results were simply an interpretation that sounded minimal---NO IMAGES for the referring doctor to review!! The manager never called me either. There is also no portal for the patient to access images. For a very simple x-ray, this process caused me a lot of stress!

Maybe it was a bad day for all involved but I feel that they were undeserved. I want you the reader to know I have no affiliation with Beach Medical other than being a patient. I'm not some paid-for person giving a review - these are my honest opinions: I'm in the process of getting both shoulders and a knee operated on in San Diego but I live nearby Beach Medical in IHB Florida. With this whole Covid thing all my appointments got tossed up in the air including my MRIs which were to take place in San Diego. I had a doctors consult scheduled May 6th and was to get the images done May 4th but my flights got cancelled. I'd driven past Beach medical numerous times (it's right across from Too Cool Cafe which is an awesome restaurant!) so I thought I'd give them a call on April 27th ... first, they were super professional and nice on the phone and were able to schedule not one, but all three MRIs in that week. In my experience it would take a month or more to schedule an MRI! ... so on to the visits ... The office was spotless and they were doing a great job keeping people distanced and everyone (including me) had masks on. Arleen was very professional and pleasant at the front desk, and Terisina was way too eager to take my copay ... lol ... As I saw them each visit we all joked around a little as I came in. Rod and Lizzy were my MRI techs and both were really nice, making sure I was comfortable and got me in and out of the procedure safely and courteously. OBTW the machine used was their open MRI which was much nicer than the closed ones I had been in before. Finally, I met Dr. Beirre. He was very nice, professional and quite courteous as well. All of my reports were sent to San Diego by the end of the week and they gave me a DVD to mail after the end of my last scan. I was able to keep my doctor consult appointment (via video) that following week and my doctor had no complaints whatsoever with the quality of the imagery or the reports. I want to say thank you to all the staff there for getting me in under such short notice, working with my insurance, and getting the results to my doctor promptly. Well done. :) CB

Anticipated the new pt paperwork. There was quite a few pages. But the older lady look like she was ready for her lunch break. My appt was at 1220. Walked in around 1155. She even mentioned that I was early. Which I responded back with I was asked to come early. Like the reminders say that. Didn't like the attitude. Didn't appreciate it. Get called to the back by a tech. She also wasn't pleasant. Again, a little older. Definitely look like she wasn't having it either. I needed an MRI w/contrast. We went into the locker room area, she was running through the stuff I can't have on or whatever. Did all that. Then I go sit and wait for her to insert an IV line for contrast. Asks which arm and I give her my right. She couldn't get it. 4 pokes later I was fed up. I had to ask for someone else to come do it, I was tired of being the pin cushion. She huffed loud and asked the guy with the long hair to come do it. I gave him my other arm and BAM! First try and gets it. He wasn't any more pleasant but honestly by that point I was fed up. The only good thing here is that before I laid down fully for the MRI. I was asked what music I wanted to listen to and surely enough she at least pulled through for me for that. I'll try another place if I need to get anything done the next time. This place is not it.

They have had issues in the past with MRI equipment that was down and I have had imaging studies…read morethat were postponed because of it, and I was not happy about that. However, my latest visit to them was five stars. I needed a complicated MRI for a rare illness and I came in toting a protocol that would need to be used to find my tumor. The supervising tech seemed very on top of what they would be able to do, and suggested that they add one more series of images to the protocol ("we can go one better"). They also have a neuroradiologist who is outstanding, Dr. Hartker. He found a small but significant brain tumor that was missed at a major university medical center. So, in summary, if you have anything going on in your brain, I think they do a great job. Also, they are very efficient about producing and sending CD's. One thing I have not paid attention to for all of my medical life is the quality of imaging that is produced, and also, the skill of the radiologist. If I have a tumor and it's not found, no one is going to treat it. I really do need to pay attention to the training and skill of my radiologist, and now I do.

The team here consists of some of the kindest people that I've ever encountered at any Quest Diagnostics that I've ever been to. They really take good care of you here. The first thing that you do is check into a kiosk and let the team know whether you've arrived for your appointment, or if you are a walk in patient. After that you have a seat and wait to be called. There is no front office staff at this location. When it's your time to be called a team member will come out to the lobby and call you to the back. I recently found out that you can knock on the door, if you have an urgent matter that can't wait, and a team member will answer the door. *Please note that the last time I was here (in February of 2026) the bathroom door wouldn't close properly and so I had to wait to use the bathroom during my time here. This is something that really needs attention because many customers can't wait long to use the bathroom.*
