Quite an cool hotel concept.
This is a review however of the golf simulators only.
There are 4 seperate screens and simulators and they are top notch. Pretty decent simulation of "real" golf with the added bonus of being out of the elements. A great way to golf in the winter, almost as good as being on a windswept links with howling wind and stinging rain trying to find you ball in the waist high rough. But I digress.
It's not cheap however but the info you get (launch angle, club speed, before and after club angle etc.) is priceless. You have a n immediate report on your swing and can therefore see what went wrong (as if a 90 degree slice is not indication enough) or more often what went right!
So on to the downsides.
There is no real way of accurately simulating the rough so you get a much better score than you normally would because every lie is perfect.
Also the courses advertised on the website do not appear on the simulator. This may however be a short term problem as the centre is pretty new.
For a decent work at your driving and long game this is an incredibly useful tool but you do need to save up some money to use it often. read more
