An old school video rental store that was a total blast from the past. They rent Blu-Rays, DVDs,…read moreand VHS tapes. I stopped by hoping to buy (not rent) a few DVDs/Blu-Rays and I ended up getting 3-4 movies at a great deal. In fact, I believe they were 50% off. The sale selection isn't bad but the rental selection is huge. This shop could easily have gone toe-to-toe Blockbuster or Hollywood Video. There was one young guy working the shop and he was very kind and helpful. We chatted for a little bit and he even gave us some recommendations for activities to do around town (we were visiting from CA). Great spot -- keep up the good work.

I've been a loyal customer at game world for about a year. I've had alright experiences there but…read moremy last two visits there were awful. I was trading in about 10 games for in store credit and it took the man working there a half an hour just to do so. The scanner wasn't working so the worker had to type in the codes on the fine print of each of the games. He was suppose to put me on the waiting list for a game I wanted that they were out of stock of. however he forgot to. The next and most likely last time I'm ever coming there a different young male employee who acted very unprofessional and said bizarre things that didn't make any sense. When I simply stated that the last time I was there they forgot to put me on a waiting list the male employee acted like a smart ass and said "Oh to bad to was a hate crime." And he giggled several times under his breath. He made me VERY uncomfortable. I don't know what he was inferring by "hate crime." I was the only female in the store. I felt his comments towards me were sexist. He acted like he didn't want to help me he sighed and said "well I have to do my job." This worker has one of his friends doing 50% of his job and posing as an employee. I have two witnesses that witnessed this happen. I'm ready to contact the BBB. This was all very unprofessional.

So I had no water and needed to take a load into a place so kids had school clothes. I loaded into the one with least about of sandy hairy debris. Upon finishing I saw in the rubber seal something I thought was paper or dryer sheet. I pulled it out to be horrified it was a bloated sanitary napkin! I instantly threw it to the ground and pulled out my clothes. Onto another one because I needed their clothes and had no water at my house. The next one had 2 fake fingernails in it. Ok so I get without attendants things happen. The floor dirt and moldy looking junk is so heavy I said god forbid you drop something there! After I dried my kids load I folded on top of my bag because the tables and carts were also dirty. Yep it then happened I dropped the bag and few things hit that floor so I picked up flipped off the camera shaking my head and put clothes into bag unfolded. So I hope the hot water was really hot because my kids dirty clothes were cleaner than the facility. Shame on county/state for not recognizing the need for some min cleaning requirements for these places. I never had to use one in over 20yrs but now it makes me think...blood, any other bodily fluids, hazmat control by at least some bleaching or cleaning of said filth. I will continue to find owner and make him aware of what I feel he should be doing even if not a requirement.

Six months later we received a notice from a collections department for $16. If a business resorts to making it's money by sending local customers to collections for a movie that's returned a day late (which they can't even prove it had been) then they are obviously in the painful death throws of an obsolete industry. Do yourself a favor and stick to Redbox or Netflix. Neither of which is perfect, but both are 100 times better than this cigarette-and-dirty-carpet smelling, overpriced, and ethically-challenged dinosaur.

The coffee drinks seemed watered down or flavorless. To be more cost effective and environmentally friendly, consider large coffee cups and froth designs. Be creative! I feel like the drinks they made they haven't tasted. The food; average with a side of chips. Nothing exciting about it. Overall it's a nice place to hangout, but lacks the want for food or drink.
