This is now my regular go to card shop for pokemon cards and the owners are extremely friendly. The prices are very fair (cards are based on prices from tcg player) and they can sometimes work you a deal if you happen to also be selling. If you are interested at all in pokemon cards or similar card games, I highly recommend this shop. You can even bring your consoles and hang out and play games here. When my son tried to use the phone, it was locked and could only be unlocked by a totally unknown owner so the phone was worthless. When my son tried to return the phone, the owner refused to take the phone back or to return my son's $100. We tried to work with the owner to explain the problem, but that only resulted in us being asked to leave the store. We refuse to be intimidated by this scam and filed a claim in Small Claims Court against this shop and the con-woman owner. I would suggest that you never do any business with this woman unless you are fond of potentially stolen merchandise that may or may not work, and you wish to never see your money again. It's similar to the old roach hotel ad, once your money enter her store and ends up in her hands, it will never come out again! BEWARE, YOU'VE BEEN FOR-WARNED!.

You gently place your hand on the bar and open the door. At first, it doesn't seem so bad until your eyes adjust. You're met with this messy, unorganized heap of games and movies as far as the eye can see. It's dingy and dark, almost as if it's evening time. All of the aisles are small and there's things scattered below the shelves on the floor, probably things she's bought and couldn't find room for. You take a deep breathe and you smell dust, and recoil a little bit. You don't want to look like a weirdo, so you venture farther into this dungeon-like facility and you start looking, everything feels like it has years of grime and dirt on it. Everything you like is overpriced and you can feel the eyes of the woman behind the counter boring into your very soul. But soon you found something neat! A guide to the game series you love dearly and have been collecting for years! Yes! But the cover is torn off, and a little voice in the back of your head tells you that GameStop rips the covers off of these when they throw them away - so you know she has to be dumpster diving for some of this stuff. Gross, but you feel the excitement bubble up into your chest. You turn the item around to see the price, and it has none. You aren't deterred though, as you grab it and head to the counter. You greet the owner, who gives off this weird vibe, but you smile and say, "Hi! How much is this?" She hesitates, but takes it anyway. She's silent for a few moments, running her fingers across the back and turning it to look at every square inch of it. The silence is poignant, you wonder if she's okay. Until she looks up and says, "How about ten dollars?" You can feel your face fall as you realise, it isn't worth ten dollars. You offer her five, because it's obviously very old as the game had came out ten years earlier, and the cover isn't even on it. "No, ten." She says. You feel defeated as you ask for it back, so you can put it back where you found it. You aren't a monster, after all. The walk back is disappointing as you gross really old bloatware for the wii she's priced triple than what their worth, and foreign workout and children's movies. You place it back where it belongs. You leave feeling defeated, nearly decimating your pinky toe on the several hundred things scattered across the floor and wondering how on God's green earth she stays open.

It feels like they all disappeared overnight. CD-Land is a relic of the 1990s, and is likely doomed to go out of business just like your local newspaper, Blockbuster, and Gamestop. With that being said, CD-Land holds a certain degree of nostalgic value. You can walk in and find all kinds of memories for sale under $5 each. It's a blast from the past.

If you can't find what you're looking for here, then it doesn't exist. If it does, they can order it for you. There is really TOO many CDs here, with CDs piled on top of the racks, and in boxes underneath. It makes it kind of  hard for quick browsing, but if you like to dig dig dig this is the place. Although the selection is daunting, chances are they have what you're looking for. There is also a very nice selection of collectible CDs, boxes, promos, and stuff that you are just not going to find anyplace else. The used CDs are top quality; they don't buy junk like other used CD stores. There is a money back guarantee but I doubt you'll ever need to return anything. The only negative comment I have is that the prices of used CDs may be a little high for some titles. The big boxes are dumping back catalog new CDs for as little at $4.99, but you'll find a used copy here for $9.99. If you think a particular used title is priced too high, just ask. Often the price reflects availability. If it's out of print, the price goes up. If it's been reissued recently, mention that to the staff and the price might go down. They also stock many "import" CDs at ridiculously high prices. With high quality torrent downloads so prevalent, there is no reason to buy these "import" CDs. Selling your used CDs depends on what your selling. They buy used CDs based on quality and availability, and if they think they can sell it. If the title your selling is out of print or rare, you will get more. If the store has 25 Justin Bieber CDs in the rack, they may not even want it. They know what sells and they know their customers, so be prepared to take back home the Britney Spears CDs you listened to in elementary school. The vinyl loft has been greatly expanded, and here is where I think the real bargains lie. The price of used, near mint, and new vinyl is very reasonable. Even hard to find stuff is priced right. No price gouging here. Finally, they also buy and sell used DVDs and video games. I don't normally browse those areas so I can only say that it's available.

Why would a woman who has never played Warhammer review a store that's all about Warhammer? And now I want to bring my kids to see if Warhammer is something they might be interested in! I popped into Games Workshop because I happened to be visiting a restaurant in the same shopping center. It had the word "games" in the name, so I had to check it out. Turns out, the store is all about one particular game: Warhammer. I had heard of Warhammer, but I didn't know an entire store could be dedicated to it. Indeed, an entire store can be dedicated to Warhammer! There are kits and mini figures, and paints to paint your figures, and tables at which to play the game, if you want. They have a lot of product in the store, but they can also order things for you, from what I remember. There are also some cool displays set up. I like mini things, so to see such intricate scenes set up is really fun, even if I have no idea what the context is in terms of game play. If you're into Warhammer, this is the place to be. And if you don't know about Warhammer but think it might be something you want to try, this is also the place to be because they will help you out here, and are very welcoming to newbies.
