One of the best massages ever! We did a couples massage, I had Brenda and my fiancé had Adrian as our massage therapists. I have some back and hip issues and my fiancé was having knee issues and a migraine . After only a brief conversation with them, they zero's in on our trouble areas and did a phenomenal job. We're 30's / 40's and the pressure was pretty firm, aggressive, yet not painful. They were spot on! My fiancé loved the head massage which helped her migraine and her knee was no longer hurting after. It was nice they allow guests of the spa to use the hot tub, outdoor sauna, and steam room. The only downside is that it's mixed in with all the other hotel guests and there were lots of kids, but wasn't terrible and the four seasons doesn't even allow you to use their pool amenities which is prominently featured on their spa home page ‍ I was grateful to have acccess and the massage was awesome so no complaints! I'd definitely come back! My phone died from skiing all day so you only get emoji's for this review read more

Vida Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Whistler, British Columbia

Located at the base of Blackcomb, this spa was a nice retreat for my friend and I (neither of us are snow bunnies). We went early to use the other amenities like their steam room and sauna. Unfortunately, the spa's amenities are the same as the hotel's, so there were several kids using the pool while we were using the hot tub and the locker rooms were more crowded than I would've liked. On the plus side, the hot tub was located within a stone's throw of some chair lifts and we could watch everyone trudging in the snow with their gear while we happily sipped our mimosas with views of the lifts and mountains. The spa treatments themselves were lovely. I had a body scrub, body wrap, and an hour massage. It was an enjoyable 2 hours, but probably the priciest spa I've been to ($295). My friend had a massage and facial (total of 2 hours) and it was approx the same price. Seems to be the going rate in Whistler because most of the other spas were similar too. Although I enjoyed my experience, I'm not sure if I would go again. Would probably want to check another place out. read more

Vida Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Whistler, British Columbia

've been a loyal client of Vida for years and years. I've sent countless people to you and even today referred a group of colleagues from the US coming to Whistler to you in the fall. Today, while spending $250++ on a one hour massage I was asked to leave as I sat in the sauna. I appreciate Vida sharing re timing and your agreement w the hotel (60 mins and only pre services?) but honestly, it just hit wrong and I left feeling upset and with a pit in my gut, embarrassed and frankly pissed off. May I respectfully recommend you revisit this as all COVID mandates have been lifted. COVID is not an excuse for a poor experience and to do less. Part of the experience, especially when paying north of $250 for a 60 min massage, is the usage of the facility services. 60 min pre service is frankly rushed. It feels tounge in cheek to sell & advocate self care but to rush people through. While reception was extremely polite they did actually come into the sauna to basically tell me to leave. As a young mom and a busy executive I rarely get time for self care and I'm deeply disappointed in today's experience. Like I said above it just hit all wrong. Ultimately, while it feels right to let you know my honest feedback I know nothing speaks louder than word of mouth and where/ who you choose to give your business. I understand this is your deal w the hotel however there are other great spas in town with great (and frankly better) access to the overall experience which I will be choosing moving forward, read more

Decided to try this spa out for massages for the first time for an anniversary and we both loved our massages! My masseuse used great pressure and used a couple of techniques that I've never experienced before and really enjoyed. Love how this place offers 60-minute massages and not just 50 like others, AND, they're a bit cheaper. Win win!! Another nice perk is being able to use the Fairmont pool/hot tub before/after your service. read more

5 stars for experience & ease of scheduling 3 stars for the quality of massage for the price read more

What a relaxing time at the spa. My masseuse Jamie was amazing - focusing on my areas of concerns with the perfect kind of pressure. Making an appointment was a breeze, and it's conveniently located in Upper Village. read more

The spa was wellfully laid out and your tranquil adventure begins once you walk up the stairs. I do not get very many massages and the only other RMT message left me in pain for over a week, so I was very nervous, stiff, and awkward walking into the spa. I had an RMT message and my Therapist made me feel very comfortable by the end of my session. I was so stiff and awkward it was hard to relax so the message itself would not be painful. My RMT was very knowledgeable and very good working on me, someone new and stiff to the process. It did not take her long to loosen me up and gain my trust in her skills and by the middle of my appointment I was putty in her hands ready to be moulded into a more comfortable framed person. After walking back out into the lobby my friends walked up behind me and noted my inner calm from the aftermath of the Massage. wait, the journey is not over. Now we proceeded across the hall and into the Fairmont's fabulous pool facilities, with an outdoor and indoor pool two hot tubs and a lap swimming pool. The change rooms we impeccable with individual shower facilities and personal lockers. All details were accounted for down to a blow dryer and hair straightener. I could not have been more relaxed by the end of my experience. Thank you Chateau and Spa. read more

I am surprised that this place has 3 stars. My experience was definitely 5 stars worth. Staff was very helpful knowledgeable and courteous. We were accommodated %100 and my aesthetician was so amazing she changed my life in a very good way. She was very positive and she had so much knowledge of what she was doing. Her name was Julie I would go back there over and over again and book her as my aesthetician. I recommend it to everyone. read more

This place is so not worth the price. The only reason I went was due to for seasons not having any availability and thought would give this place a try. The masseuse was decent but the rest of the staff were not helpful at all. The massage room was so cold and the bed didn't get heated which is so needed. Didn't even have a heat pad to offer. The locker room was so dirty and outdated. Nothing special to offer so spend your money somewhere else. read more

We had a couples massage and neither me nor my husband enjoyed it that much. The massage was quite mediocre, and the masseuses clearly weren't very professional. I understand that everything is expensive in Whistler, but I would certainly expect better massage at a price that is almost twice of what you pay for therapeutic massage in Toronto. read more

I went in for a $50 USD manicure and it only lasted one day before it started to chip. I stuck my bracelet in the pocket robe I was wearing and forgot to take it out. They couldn't find my bracelet when I called the same day to see if they still had it. They were not helpful. read more

My husband and I are on our honeymoon from Dallas and treated ourselves to a spa day. I am no stranger to spa's and have had facials and other treatments at the most high end spas in Dallas. This was by far, hands down the most incredible facial that I have ever received! My esthetician was Katie and she could not have been more knowledgable, professional and enjoyable! My skin has never looked better and she went step by step with me on what to use at home and how to use it. She never tried to oversell a product or push the spas merchandise on me. But the "proof is in the pudding" and I purchased some of the dermalogica product the spa carries. My skin looks and feels so good, this product is worth every penny. I hope to find someone like Katie in Dallas to keep my skin glowing! read more

Not worth the price ! Thought I was going in for a nice relaxing manicure but they rush you through the treatment , get your money and out you go !! Very disappointed:( read more

Was not overly impressed with this salon. Manicure and pedicure was extremely over priced for what was received. $55 and $90 respectively. I receive more for $30 back home but was in a pinch and didn't have much of a choice. Will look elsewhere next time. read more

I was so disappointed to start off. Immediately upon check-in at the spa they insist that you sign for robes and slippers because apparently everyone steals there. Ridiculous! Then they guided my husband and I to the change rooms which is the same change rooms for the Hotel. Not relaxing at all, kids everywhere, yelling and screaming at the pool and running in and out of the change room. They ask you to come early to use the steam room but besides all of the above the steam room was so incredibly hot I lasted a total of two seconds in and out. My husband enjoys the heat and even he stated that it was too hot. After that you have to walk thru the Hotel to get back to the Spa while in a robe and then go to wait in a NON relaxing wait room which was also the corridor for all the staff that were walking back and forth chatting. It was really annoying to have to sit in this really odd space to wait for treatment and have staff stare at you as they walk by. IWe had a couples massage in the same room which I thought would be nice and relaxing - think again. The music choice was not relaxing at all, a mixture of relaxation, bells gongs and rave music. Very odd choice for a spa. My massage was one of the worst I have ever had. She was an RMT and it seemed like she had never massaged a day in her life. No fluidity to her movements, uncertain finger placement and it was like she had just taken speed. I go for massages once a month for the past few years so trust me when I say I know what a good massage feels like. I was so disappointed in this visit and felt like it was such a waste of money. When I went to pay I then received another shock - an increase in price. They told me one price on the phone and charged me much much more at the desk. Then they tell me that if I want a receipt for the RMT treatment to send to insurance they would charge an extra $15.00 per person to get that receipt. Is that even legal? Gotta look into that. Anyway, I do not recommend this spa to anyone. Not relaxing at all, wished I had gone to the Pan Pacific Spa or the Four Seasons Spa instead. WORST SPA award goes tho Vida Wellness Spa for sure. Rude Staff award goes to the very rude Spa Manager who prefers to piss off clients more by giving attitude then. Anyway, save yourselves some money, time and sanity be going elsewhere. Good luck staying business Vida Spa with this kind of service. read more
