We went in early to get our sandals and robes and take advantage of the facilities. We started off in the rooftop Hot Tub which was a bit cooler than usual but with the sunny -2 temperature it was a great start to the day . We then took a break in the fantastic steam room, which was so relaxing . Moving into the relaxation room we enjoyed herbal teas and flavoured water while we waited for our services. I had the Nita Lake Signature service with Katie . A full body salt scrub , followed by a mud wrap. While wrapped up and absorbing the mud you are treated to a fantastic mead massage . Then whisked off to the showers to clean off with your skin feeling buttery soft . Back into the treatment room for an amazing 1 hour full body massage . This is the perfect way to spend a day even if you don't ski .

Called by phone to make an appointment for 2, and they were to accommodate us for an evening session the same day. It is located inside the Whistler village. We parked at Lot 2 and the walk to Aviva was less than 5 minutes. Very unique set up. Downstairs is a barber and cigar shop. Upstairs is where the massage rooms were. Upon arrival we were asked to fill out waiver forms, which took less than 5 minutes. Price was $120 (before tax) for a 90 minute session. We were greeted by our masseuse shortly and taken to our individual rooms, which were relatively small but gets the job done. Lights were dimmed and relaxing music was playing in the background. They offer Swedish massage by default, which is what I got. You start with you back facing up and they work on your back, shoulders and hips. Pressure and placement was on point throughout! I think I dozed off several times! About halfway through the session, you turn around to face the ceiling and get your neck, arms, hands and legs worked on. The experience was excellent and very relaxing. Highly recommended! Keep in mind they do not have RMTs on staffed so work insurance will not cover this! I actually think my experience here is on par or even better than most of my experiences with RMTs in Vancouver. I will definitely be back!

You are checked in and given two towels and a rope and a key to a locker. You need to bring a swimsuit and sandals. After changing you are than led to a room for an hour massage. I had asked for a Deep message and what I got was far from that. Very disappointing!!! My wife had the same experience. Next you shower and go to the different outside areas. I started with the cold pool then the hot pool. Next the sauna on to the Eucalyptus room and the Relaxation Solarium. It's a beautiful property and they stress QUITE! The one pool with a waterfall was closed for maintenance. I like the Eucalyptus Room and Solarium the best. After showering, we had a very good lunch. The staff was very nice and apologetic- however I would not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a luxury experience or for services. This is more like a glorified motel. The final straw --This morning I asked for laundry service and was told I had to go to the garage to wash and dry my own clothes. Never again at Nita Lake Lodge. This was an utter waste of money. Loved the experience but a few things were lacking - no wall decor - walls looked freshly painted but were completely blank, master bathroom was tiny, but bedroom was huge with lots of wasted space - for example the fireplace was nice but there was no seating area just an otter-man with bedding , and two bathrooms were off the queen bedroom but none near the king bedroom !! Washer dryer was a great addition until we realized it only used boiling hot water even on a cold cycle and we had to request that the fire place and safe be repaired. That said it is a great location, comes with daily breakfast, the balconies are worth every penny and it's very clean and comfortable!
