The Happiest people work at this Race Trac!…read more This is my new favorite Race Trac! The people are so upbeat and friendly that you can't help but just bop along with them! They really know how to lift a person's mood. This location is right off Highway 92 and Downsby Lane. There is a Taste of Italy diagonally across from here....it's about 1/2 mile or so from The Cherokee Emergency Veterinary Clinic. This Race Trac like many of them now features a ready made kitchen concept where you can order everything from a pizza to a cappuccino any way that you like it. The prices are reasonable beginning about $4.99 for a sandwich on up to $12.99 for a large unlimited toppings pizza. They also have the self-serve frozen yogurt from Swirl World. The flavors include Vanilla Watermelon creamsicle Watermelon Strawberry short cake Chocolate fudge sundae Chocolate obsession Choco chip cookie dough Chipwich Ice cream sandwich Birthday cake Carmel crunch cake Sea salt carmel pretzel Cookie and cream Chocolate chip pumpkin cookie Pumpkin pie They start out at $0.44 per ounce and let's not forget the dozen or so toppings you can get including gummy bears, Chocolate chips, blueberries, mochi, and more. It's a great pit stop. So get ready to pull up and grab a bite to eat....even if you're not hungry you can still get out and s-t-r-e-a-c-h!

Not only because of the store itself, but this immediate area also features Del Taco, Dunkin, Moe's, Firehouse and a few other spots and a lot of folks use the entry and exit to the QT to get to these places. For the most part you get friendly and helpful folks at the register, however the folks that work the QT Kitchen can't be described as such. Speaking of the QT Kitchen, don't sleep on their iced coffees! Overall, QT is always my go-to gas station. I stopped at this QT to fill up on my way to Woodstock. The gas station has 14 pumps arranged in a single row. The pumps are an older model with backlit orange displays. These aren't as nice or as easy to read as the pumps at newer QTs, but they're good enough. The gas prices were competitive. Note: There's no diesel or ethanol-free gas at this location. As is standard at most QTs, the filling area was clean, spacious, and brightly lit. The convenience store is one of the older, smaller designs, but it's been retrofitted with QT Kitchens. There's a newer, bigger RaceTrac across the street which opened in 2014. Competition is good. I'll probably check it out next time I'm in the area to compare. In the end, while this QT isn't as big or as nice as the newer QTs that have popped up around town, it's still just as functional.
