Ok ... they got me! So excited to see an email from them in the morning with raffle for a "cooler…read morebag & goodies" from a local brewery we love. We decided to make a special trip to stop in after dinner that night ... especially as we were running low on our beer supply. While DH was checking out their craft beers notably from Other Half Brewing ... yes, it's a decent selection but priced a bit higher than others at $22.99 (4 pack) ... I decided to find the "raffle box at the front registers" to submit my entry for a shot at the cooler bag. Hmm ... it didn't seem to be there. Looked around the store some more ... still no luck. Found a nice employee to help and she couldn't find it either even after looking in the back too. She said it's usually up front right next to the checkout registers (as advertised in the email) ... but it's not there and all managers have gone for the (Saturday) night. Ended up having DH put his beer back and gave our rolling basket to another young man (who thanked us as he was struggling with holding his 4 six-packs) and off we went to our usual place Clayton Liquors for their crowler/growler fills in addition to the best service and best beer selection around. Wow ... they really got me to come into the store for a "non-existent" raffle?!? We used to come to Buy Rite often (even before they changed their name a few times - as it's the closest place to our house) ... but stopped a while back as one of their old cashiers is pretty rude. We do try to support local businesses and this place does have everything you need ... but now it has 2 strikes in our book. We'll have to see if we go back ... maybe for another good raffle ... huh!

Really frustrating experience today. I walked into the store with my daughter after grabbing coffee…read morenext door and she walked beside me the whole time just scrolling on her phone.  When we got to the counter, we were told both of us needed IDs, even after I explained the purchase was mine.  The reasoning we were given, was that they said they had an issue where their workers were selling to underage kids, so they had to BUCKLE DOWN on carding people.  We were told a manager would come speak to us, but that never happened. Instead, another employee came out and refused the sale without any clear explanation.  I understand stores have policies, which I appreciate and understand from a business owners mindset. But the lack of communication and follow-through was disappointing, and not the customer service experience you should receive whatsoever.  An actual explanation- (I don't want to know or hear that your business has been selling to underage kids) or having the manager actually come out would have made a big difference. Will not be returning simply because the customer service experience and communication was handled HORRIBLY!!!

I'd gone in with a friend of mine, searching for champagne. Eventually we feel as though we're being watched, to which we ignore and continue shopping. That is, until it became just too obvious to ignore. The associate proceeded to make her way back to our corner to begin "cleaning." It would've been believable had she not started to pick up imaginary lint all around her. Almost laughable if the situation hadn't been so insulting. Upon noticing what was happening, we went on to ask if she was watching us, assuring her that we were in fact paying customers. Hearing this, she went on a tirade, yelling about how she was "cleaning." Etc. My past experiences with this place had been tame compared to this. Just an incredibly unprofessional environment, with a rude and insulting staff.

The store itself was pretty neat and clean and while they have a lot of product they try their best to merchandise it well. They don't sell their THC canned beverages in the 4 or 6 packs that they typically come in and price them per can which I'm not really a fan of since you wind up paying more than what the price of the 4 or 6 pack typically is, but this was the only "con" I had shopping here. The manager / cashier and all the employees were super friendly and helpful which I absolutely appreciated.
