This company installed a picket fence in our backyard and it split and cracked almost immediately. I have been asking them for months to come and fix it and they either ignore me or say they are "too busy". Seems like their business model for covering up a defective product is to delay and delay repairing it until they can claim the damage is normal weathering and they are not responsible. I will never use them again and recommend anyone considering hiring them to stay away to avoid having the same bad experience. read more

We worked with Joe at Victorian Fence, and not only was he amazing, but his team was as well. They were extremely responsive, moved quickly with coordinating utility company mark-outs, and were honest throughout the entire process. Joe also helped us design a beautiful fence despite our tricky, irregular yard layout. His team completed the entire installation in one day, and the final result came out even better than we expected. If you're looking for a fence company with a great team and a smooth, stress-free process, I highly recommend them. read more

Horrible craftsmanship...took them weeks to come back to fix the issue and every time they came back the problem got worst and worst. The photos show the repair at 2 stages. This company is very low quality. Go to the next guy in your neighborhood because this crew does not care about their work. read more

I got 5 other estimates and John Haussle came by in his van. Very professional and the price was just right. Thank you to your guys who were on point and did a great job. Jose the lead installer was very professional and he asked questions and even showed me what he and his crew were working on. Give him a raise. Pedro finished up the job the day before Father's Day and my family and I had a great Father's Day this year. The yard looks very clean and I appreciate all that you guys have done.i will definitely use you again for pergola over garage doors and a gated area by my shed. Great job 5 Star Thank you for keeping in touch and answering all of my questions John. read more

After purchasing a home that needed a new fence I with out a doubt knew I was going to call Victorian Fences because of a few friends that have had installations in the past. After meeting with Mark the sales rep we didnt even hesitate to accept the estimate for the work. We waited a month and a half for a installation date. We spent almost 8000 and on the day of the installation we received moldy fence and a crew that didnt bother to make sure the gates were sitting properly. we have a double gate that had an inconsistent gap reaching 4inches in one spot. Another gate that appeared to close properly but if you leaned or pushed on it from the inside it would pop right open. The fence had was level but the installers picked the highest level leaving us with 6-8 inches off the ground in some spots. We called to have the fence repaired and Mark came back and assured us that the moldy panels would be replaced and all of the other issues would be corrected minus the gaps on the bottom of the fence. Two weeks went by and no call and I pull up to my house in the middle of the day and there is a crew looking for an outlet to power wash my fence.... Really!!! I stopped them immediately and called into the office. The crew and no idea about replacing the fence or the gate and spacing issues. Today the neccessary repairs were made and the fence looks better. But my entire experience with Victorian was more than disappointing. No customer should have to experience or receive product and less than satisfactory installation. I have toddler and a dog making the fence very unsafe. Needless to say our entire experience with Victorian was dissatisfying and we will look for another company if we need a fence in the future. read more

It was just a nightmare. We waited 30 minutes in the waiting room for Anthony to emerge from the back. He seemed very attentive and took my information. I was looking for one vinyl fence section 5 feet wide and 5 feet tall. Anthony asked when I needed it, and I stated I needed it in 10 days. Anthony said there was no problem and it would be done by Tuesday (I came in on Thursday) next week. Before I left, I was specific about what I was looking for. The fence would be 5 feet wide (not 8 feet wide) and 5 feet tall (not 6 feet tall). Anthony stated that it wouldn't be a problem. All I had to do was dig the post holes and assemble the fence. He would cut everything to the specifications I requested. Tuesday rolled by with no phone call, but I called Wednesday to see if it was ready, and it was. I pick the fence up, and it's not 5 feet tall. It's 6 feet tall, and it's not 5 feet wide. It's 8 feet wide. He didn't have the pieces cut and just gave me the standard size of a section of fence, not the 5-foot wide 5, 5-foot tall fence I requested, which he acknowledged and reassured me would be done. I bring the fence home, cut it down myself, and install it. My wife calls to question why it isn't cut as requested and acknowledged, and I hear Anthony state he told me (no, he didn't; he reassured me it would be cut to size; all I would have to do is assemble it) it would be a standard size section of fence and that is why he doesn't work with the public. Unfortunately, Anthony, you don't work with the public because you are a layer and a cheat. From your reaction, this isn't the first time you lied to a customer, fell short on a deadline, or produced subpar work. I wish I read the reviews; I would have never gone to Victorian Fence. Go somewhere else; they are not worth the aggravation. read more

Several months after they installed the fence, we had a very bad storm. Our neighbor had a tree come down and knock out a section of the fence. We were able to put it back together pretty good, but it did have a top piece that was cracked. The fence section would fall over when the wind was strong. I called them up and they fixed it fast for a good price. Great company and a great looking fence. read more

I called at 0930 in the morning because the wind blew apart a section of my fence that I just had installed a few months ago (still under war.) The person I talked to said she would send a text and someone would call within a couple of hours. I wait and wait....nothing. I call back at 1230, get another person, says they close at 1200 on Saturdays but will send another text with an "emergency" tag and that someone will call me....nothing again. Now I have to wait until Monday to call again with a huge front facing section of my fence missing and looking like crap. Would avoid Victorian fence just from a customer service perspective. read more

Terrible. Customer service. Contacted them about fence problem over 3 months ago still no response. Far better companies out there don't waste your money. Just awful people. I understand that things have changed with Covid but still doesn't give a company the right to be nasty. read more

This company by far exceeded my expectations from start to finish! Kevin the estimator was great and answered his personal cell whenever I called with questions. The pricing was very fair, not the cheapest but I never go for the lowest estimate. I want quality work, responsiveness, punctual and quality people to work at my home. This is exactly what I received from Victorian fence. The crew showed up on time and the crew chief Jose took his time confirming the job specifications with me before I had to leave for work myself. I returned home while they started finishing up and I was thrilled. The attention to detail was great. I am a super happy client and would refer these guys to anyone. Thanks Kevin & Jose and crew! read more

I had a great experience working with Victorian, specifically Mark who was responsible for the sale. From a price perspective, they were very competitive and the overall sales process wasn't a hassle. Mark was very responsive to all my questions and my experience working with him was extremely positive. When it came time to install the fence the team worked very quickly and I'm extremely pleased with how it came out. I'd highly recommend Mark to anyone looking for a straight forward, competitively priced fence company. read more

This company was recommended to me by a friend and even though she had several issues with the installation I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. I scheduled an appointment which took better than three weeks for them to get to me . This was fine as I was curious if they would make good for the shotty work that was done at my friends house. THAT HAS TO DATE NEVER BEEN CORRECTED ! After taking a day off work for a 2 o'clock appointment no one showed up so I called the office. I was told that Victor the sales person was due to come out but he said he was unable to so he passed it on to someone else and they too were able to give me an estimate. My friends work has never been corrected by Victoria Fence is the first thing that I would like people to be aware of. The second thing is when calling the office I did not expect an explanation of shit happens. This company is unprofessional ! They could've had the common decency to call and rescheduled even up to the night before so I went into work and didn't lose a days pay . read more

This company was great!! Joe the salesman was very responsive and very informative. The quality of vinyl they sell is definitely above the rest. Thanks for a great job. read more

Victorian Fence just installed a new vinyl fence around my brother's house in Coram. It looks fantastic. They 2 man crew had to tear down and remove the old, dilapidated wood fence and cart it away. No small feat on a 90 degree, muggy day. They showed up promptly and it took 2 days to complete. From the sales appointment through installation they did a superior job. Their prices were very reasonable and reputation excellent. They lived up to yelp reviews. I highly recommend this company and will be asking them to do a job in Massapequa soon. read more

Had a couple quotes to get a new PVC fence with 2 gates. They were the only ones that spent more than 2 mins giving me a quote and even went the extra mile and offered to grade an area to make the finish product even better! thanks John. After install wanted to make an adjustment and they were back and got it done. Very happy with service and best warranty out of other top rated companies. read more

We just recently had work done by Victorian Fence and we could not be happier. The entire process was smooth and impressive. Everyone that we talked to there was very knowledge and extremely pleasant to deal with. The installers that came worked so hard and did not leave until everything was perfect. We could not have asked for a better experience. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for fence or railing. read more

After reading several mostly positive reviews, and after getting several quotes (they were not the lowest), we called the sales rep John and made an appointment to have him come over and sign the papers. John did not show up at the appointed time, nor did he call. After waiting 3/4 of an hour, I called him on his cell. He said "oh, I'm running behind, I'll be there in 1/2 hour or so." No apology as to why he did not call, just a sort of whatever attitude. I told him not to bother. I figured that as we were not important enough to be treated with human decency before he got our money, imagine what would happen after we signed and paid! Steve L. read more

My mother hired victorian fence to install a railing for our front stoop. We loved their friendly workers (they even got along with our dog). The railing looks amazing. They were time efficient, and understood my moms vision right away. We highly recommend ! read more

I do not have enough great things to say about Patrick! From the first day my wife and I met him we knew he'd take care of us. The estimate was fair, and provided on site. We got a number of estimates, and while we probably could have found somebody else to do the work a bit cheaper reputation mattered to us. We had safety concerns, so Patrick and Joe squeezed us in during their busy season. We have had an entire Summer to enjoy our new yard and fencing. The craftsmanship is wonderful. The aluminum fencing, aluminum railing, and PVC fencing is beautiful and sturdy. Our neighbors compliment the work. The backyard and deck were left clean and not damaged. My wife and I ask a lot of questions and can be demanding, and we recognize quality service when we receive it. read more

Horrible. Don't use them. I used John, The Fence Guy who is now affiliated with Victorian Fence. They are both terrible. Very bad customer service. They come out for new estimates and installs, however don't follow up timely with any needed repairs. I will soon have to renew my building permit because they have delayed repairs needed for me to pass inspection. When I told John I would expect compensation for a permit renewal because of delays on his part, he laughed at me. Christina from Victorian Fence is unprofessional and hangs up on customers. I never write reviews for anything but I would never want anyone to be stuck with people like John the Fence Guy and Victorian Fence. read more

Amazing experience - plain and simple. Recently moved into a new home and first on the list was to install a fence. After doing some digging, we thankfully found Victorian Fence - they made the entire process so easy and seamless. Victorian Fence originally provided us with a quote comparable to other companies, so we went with them based off of warranty terms as well as reputation. They finished our fence all in one day, took away all of the garbage, and left us with a beautiful product. We even needed our new gate adjusted a few days later, and they sent someone over immediately and they fixed it no questions asked. Very happy so far with the service and work that was done! read more

Very dissatisfied. Wanted to support local business - big mistake. Ordered and installed incorrect height gate. (My dog can get out). The whole experience from the estimate to the final product was professional and pleasant. I would highly recommend this company to anyone. read more

After doing my research for a new fence for my home I came across Victorian .. I have had a lot of work done for my house and I am very picky but I have to be honest when I made the call to them I was nervous but as soon as I set up my quote and they came to do a inspection of the are of work I knew I picked the right people .. Pete and his crew were not only punctual, clean, neat, reliable, and very informative but they treated me with top notch service along with using the best quality material. They had replaced a fence I got 5 years ago that because I thought by saving money would last me boy was I wrong .. That cheaper price ended up costing me a lot more than i thought i saved because you had to do it all over again. In the end pete and his company have amazing rates and pricing whether they may not be the lowest out there you pay for professionalism and boy am I glad thank you guys very much hope I don't see you for 20 years haha .. read more

If you are looking to have a fence installed this is the place to go! My husband & I did allot research, received many estimates & honestly there is no need to look any further. Victorian Fence is the real deal! The price was competitive, but most of all the service was impeccable & we couldn't be happier with our choice. Joe & his team care & pay close attention to detail...Not many companies would & just do the job. It is more than just a job at Victorian Fence, they show pride in their work & they are very professional. To top it off we received a follow up call after the job was complete, above & beyond if you ask me. I would recommend & refer anyone to Victorian Fence, they are 5 star for sure! read more

I had a PVC fence put on my property by Victorian Fence about five years ago and I have to say that I was extremely satisfied with this company and the fence still looks brand new. So when I needed a service call to have some roots cut because they were lifting a section of the fence, I called Victorian Fence. The receptionist was very courteous and sent out the sales representative in a timely manner. The sales representative was very pleasant to deal with, was courteous, knowledgeable, and professional. An appointment was then set up for September 20, 2016 for the morning for the job to be done. The technicians arrived at seven thirty AM. and the job was completed in about an hour. They were all courteous, knowledgeable, professional, explained what needed to be done, and cleaned up after they finished. There is no question that I highly recommend that anyone who needs a fence constructed, or if they need a repair of fence, use Victorian Fence. I am sure that you will be as satisfied as I have been with the quality of the work, pricing, and professionalism of the company. Mark S. read more
