I unfortunately waited to the very last minute and found myself in quite the dilemma. I found Bethany on Yelp called her and she fit me into her schedule the following day. My gown required shortening and resizing. To my surprise. my gown was ready in a week! Bethanys alterations far exceeded my expectations! The gown fit me like a glove! Absolutely stunning result! Highly recommended! I will certainly use Bethany again! JacquelineJ

If I was able to give 0 stars I would. I am not even one to write reviews good, bad or indifferent…read more I reached out Bethany today 7/29/26 for alterations on a bridesmaids dress. We made an appointment rather quickly and she was close to my home. I had alterations done one time ever in my life and had no clue what reasonable pricing was. She quoted me $205 for a hem/steaming And adding a clasp: After I left I felt it was too much. I asked around and even talked to another highly recommended seamstress All of this within 30 minutes of me leaving her. I messaged her told her my concerns and she offered to lower the price by removing things I needed done. I explained I would never ask a business to adjust their pricing for me I would just like to go elsewhere. She lowered it to $160 but I lost the clasp and she wouldn't adjust the sash. I reluctantly said ok but afterwards I decided to cancel all together and collect my deposit back. Once I asked for my deposit she then told me deposits are not refundable and that the alterations were this price because of the rush. I needed to have back in 3 weeks. I explained none of this was explained before I raised concerns and you cannot just add policies as you go. Ready for where it got really bad?!? Buckle up! She had her husband of speaker phone talking to her indirectly about me. Saying that I am a terrible person that she needs to give me my money back and get me out of there. ( please give me my money so I can leave) He kept repeating that I was troubled and saying I feel really bad for her (me) and that she is a terrible person. Then proceeded to say that I was desperate for money that I needed my $100 back. Keep in mind she had my dress for less than an hour. He seems like a narcissist to be quite honest but I'm not a therapist! finally time to get my dollars back, the $105 I handed her in cash. AGAIN less than an hour before I was verbally abused by her husband on speaker phone.. She told me she had to Venmo me because she did not have it. Ma'am what even happen in that hour you don't have my cash. Asked me to come back in an hour and I said absolutely not... Venmo and don't even try to dispute it. I can't speak on her actual work but customer service 0/10 do not recommend. she will have her husband verbally abuse you.

I had just landed an "executive to the head partner" type position. Coming from a previous jeans position, I needed to buy a new wardrobe suited to my new career. Unfortunately I was between sizes so needed to have everything tailored. When I walked in, I was greeted by his wife who directed me to a dressing room and had me put my first outfit on. I was surprised when she returned instead of Luigi himself. She proceeded to pinch together and pin from one side of the garment and did the same with each piece of clothing. I thought it seemed odd but assumed the great Luigi maybe divided those measurements in half to take equal amounts in on each side. When I picked up my clothes, I was charged a hefty sum of money before handing me several garment bags of my clothes. I was not given the opportunity to try anything on but instead was pointed to the door. When I got home and tried everything on, every single piece was off centered and unwareable. When I complained to Mr Luigi about it, he was very nasty and refused to even reimburse me for his fee. He (rather his wife) ruined hundreds of dollars worth of clothes and charged hundreds for the tailoring. Just because he is a tailor doesn't make his wife one. She had no business doing a job she obviously had no skill in doing. I had decided to take him to small claims court but my father became I'll and passed away causing many more important things for me to take care of so I never did pursue it. I just can't believe someone would do this. She is no tailor and had no business doing her husband's job!

I am very glad that I did. They did a fantastic job and were very friendly. I used to take my jeans to a seamstress at Sak's in the city who would take about 2 weeks to hem one pair of jeans. At Luigi's they were done the next day! They did not keep the original hem; however, you cannot tell the difference. They matched the thread colors perfectly.

There are not a lot of tailors around anymore so "expensive" is really relative. Is he an expert? Undoubtedly. Unfortunately, that's where it ends. Fast forward to 2026, I took my MOH dress to him for a hem and to see if he could let the rib area out slightly. It was a little snug. He said there wasn't enough material, so I said it was no big deal and I could manage it being slightly tight. He told me I should have ordered the dress a size larger. I told him I had originally and I was swimming in it, so I returned it for a size smaller. He told me there was no way I was swimming in the larger dress. How would he know? He wasn't there. Anyway, he proceeds to tell me I should lose a few pounds in the next month for the dress to fit. 1.) there is no fat over my ribcage. I can't shrink my bones. 2.) I told him you do not ever tell a woman to lose weight. I started tearing up and he said he has told women this before and they didn't get upset. I was about to walk out then and there but my fiancé told him to hem the length so we could leave. He did apologize and didn't charge me that day (I will still have to pay upon pick up) but I thought he was unprofessional and rude. I should have just taken my dress elsewhere. I will NOT be returning after this. I told all of the other bridesmaids in the wedding to go somewhere else as well.

They had a great selection of different styles which were all very pretty, and the changing area was clean, well-decorated, and nicely lit. However, after I made my purchase, there was a lot of communication difficulty on their end in terms of how I could pay, what needed to be paid when, and when I was allowed to come in to try on the piece I paid a lot of money for. They only take important questions through text which is strange and don't answer emails or phone calls. They also tried to charge me two extra fees when they did not properly communicate with me, which I find very off-putting. Overall, I had a great appointment and ultimately found what I was looking for at Dressed In Love, but a less than satisfactory post-appointment payment experience.
