Question: How can so many necessary items of goodness be packed into such a tiny "grocery" cough, corner shop?
Answer: I don't know -- I'm no grocery store stocking scientist. But I am a consumer with very strange purchasing habits, and Victoria Grocers has only ever let me down by a small percent. 1.7% to be exact.
Today, for example, I spent most of the day digitally digging my way out from under a pile of administrative rubble. Meaning that I spent the day sitting in front of a computer in a comfortable pair of sweat pants and a hoodie. Luckily, Victoria Grocers are my next door neighbours, so anytime I need to come up for fresh air and a sanity check, I can just take a quick trip... or 5.
Trip #1: Aspirin, banana, newspaper
Trip #2: Two bottles of water, 1.7% milk (to my dismay, they don't have skim!)
Trip #3: Toilet paper, paper towels, Windex equivalent.
Trip #4: Olive Oil
Trip#5: Häagen-Dazs dulce de leche ice cream
