This is an awesome bike shop and bike rental place. My husband took his bike in that was missing a bolt and not only did they find the correct bolt and replace, they did not charge us anything. Top notch. Dave and Ozzy were great. Good directions, fair prices and decent bikes. We opted for three hours and granny bikes because wifey is older and can't ride off trails. We did only a few miles close to town around some lakes. read more

We have been to this store a few times and have always received great service. The chain broke on my bike so we went here to buy a new one.They replaced the chain and checked my bike out to make sure there was nothing else wrong and only charged us for 10 minutes of labour, we expected to be billed for half an hour. We had the opposite experience. We rented 2 bikes, were late on return by about 20 mins and not a word was said about it. No extra charge. Out the door we experienced good rates, maps, verbal instructions and recommendations to the most beautiful lake I've ever seen, and nice bikes. Only thing that could have been better would have been an offer to "upgrade" the seats. The ONLY reason we went back when we did was because our behinds hurt so bad we just couldn't do it any more. Rented a mountain bike from Marshall Wild the owner and the bike failed during normal mountain biking activities. Rear cassette large ring bent while climbing and when I returned it I was informed that I had to buy a new cassette. I researched online and this bike is known to have poor quality components, but owner and workers were unwilling to listen. Even though research shows they need to call bike company and get new component. In 16 years of MTB biking I have never bent a cassette and owner just wanted to blame me for obviously hitting something. Hard to hit something on large ring of cassette and not damage derailleur or spokes, obvious it is component failure. Poor quality components that cant handle tire size installed on a 1x10 setup. Just be prepared to pay more than double your normal rental rate if something goes wrong whether it is your fault or not. And the insurance they offer comes with a $350 deductible, what a joke. read more

Would not recommend. Poor service. Their bike broke and we had to drive it back in our own car. They wouldn't allow us to reduce the time that we rented for because we weren't happy with the bikes. read more

August 2012 - We went there to rent 2 bikes for an hour. A local had recommended a different shop to us (freewheel) but we were close to this one and went in. Everything was great at first but when we retuned we were 20 minutes over the hour. The train tracks are accross from this shop and you need to cross them to get to the trails, and luckily for us we had to wait for the long trains on the way out and back. So when we were 20 minutes late they said we have to pay for an extra 2 hours!! (1 each) I thought this wasnt fair given that before we left they told us to go past the trains to get to the trails but didn't mention the underpass that isn't clearly marked. Anyway they weren't flexible at all about this and insisted we pay an extra 2 hours. I felt that paying for an extra hour would be fair enough but their attitude shifted after they got the money. I would understand if they lost potential business because we were late but that story doesn't work because it was a slow day for them and most of their bikes were still there. Next time I will follow the advice of a local and try the other shop. read more
