For a luxe location to downgrade their lockers without anyone knowing was a big shock. The lockers before were great and you didn't need your own lock which is a selling point for me but without anyone knowing the changes they were making a lot of us are now carrying our bags around everywhere which wasn't an issue before. Pretty interesting for a "luxe" location to downgrade anything but the membership cost hasn't gone down. Not to mention this is by far the HOTTEST indoor gym I've ever been to. Apparently the AC is controlled by corporate which is wild considering houston climate is more miserable than most. It's better to work out outside even in the summer because you at least get airflow that way. Other than the downgrades and the heat it's a pretty solid gym. Gets extremely busy during peek hours but that's expected.

I spoke with the manager, Kizzee, and asked for the corporate office contact information so I could resolve the issue. He gave me a phone number for an EOS Fitness location in Phoenix. When I called that number, I was told that they do not have a corporate office at that location. This was extremely frustrating and made me feel like I was being sent in circles instead of having my issue resolved. The front desk staff were also very rude and seemed unable or unwilling to provide clear information or help with the billing issue. Charging a customer for an additional month and then refusing to properly address the refund is unacceptable. I expected much better customer service and transparency from EOS Fitness. I would strongly recommend being very careful with your billing and membership charges if you join this gym.

There's only one Precor elliptical--the industry standard--meaning members often have to wait while several treadmills and stairclimbers sit empty. Many hotel gyms offer more variety and equipment than this one. The only water fountain on the main gym floor has been pumping out lukewarm water for months, with one excuse after another for why it hasn't been fixed. Even simple requests, like changing a TV channel, are met with apathy. When traveling, I've used other Lifetime locations that are head and shoulders above this one. Unfortunately, Lifetime GreenStreet doesn't live up to the brand's reputation or the price tag.

The trainers/coaches really pay attention to form and making sure you are getting the most out of your workout while staying safe. If I lived in Houston, I would sign up for this addition to my members. Brian P was working in the recovery center and was so knowledgeable about the equipment (to include the red light therapy and the Cryo chamber). Knowing I didn't live in the area so I couldn't sign up did not stop him from sharing so much info about the health benefits. For those in the Houston area, I highly recommend checking this LA Fitness out. Make sure to ask for Brian to see the recovery center!

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR PRT…read more It's been a complete nightmare and I feel like an idiot for giving them the benefit of the doubt for so long to make things right (failing to freeze after a disabling injury, lack of communication, showing up for numerous classes with no trainers, saying we could use the facility outside of training but then not allowing it, charging when they said they would freeze, not having staffing or times available that I ensured were available before signing up, and more). They also double charged my boyfriend for training for MONTHS and never made it right. Both the gym and corporate offices don't respond consistently or call you back when they say they will. A lot of the equipment in the normal part of the gym is rusting and the padding is torn. They need more of popular machines like leg extensions. I've gone specifically to use machines for recovery from surgery and was never able to because they're forever occupied.

I was injured by their equipment which is mostly second hand horribly maintained throughout the facility. I made a verbal report to the owner through the front desk staff and I offered a solution. I returned to the gym a few days later and was frustrated when I nearly injured myself in the same manner due to the same faulty equipment. I immediately approached the owner who informed me that my her gym was protected from any liability because all customers signed a waiver and that I should be more careful! I informed her that the waiver would likely protect her from some liability but not from the gross negligence on the part of Befit gym due to the fact that MOST of the equipment is in poor repair and they are aware that they are putting patrons in safety risk! She argued me to the point that it became a hostile environment. He became Karen! She wouldn't even allow me to file an incident report. I had them cancel my membership. I am now moving forward with litigation. I do not recommend this gym to anyone . UPDATE: the gym doesn't appear to have any liability insurance or an incident reporting process. After I inquired about the two, the owner unbeknownst to me, made a criminal complaint to the police alleging some fictitious claim as an attempt to shield her business from liability in future litigation. Had one of those type officers arrived, I could be dead. Please do not patronize this business. It is not a safe environment for any of US!
