I've seen the salon before, but this was my first time going. I called and Lucia returned my call, I told her what my situation was, sent her pictures of the current state my hair was in, and what I wanted the end result to look like. She said no problem, quoted me a reasonable estimate, and I made my appointment. On the day of my appointment, I arrived early and Lucia was already waiting for me. She analyzed my hair, asked me questions and got started. Ladies, you know how hard it is to find and trust a good stylist, but I found her to be personable and very knowledgeable, making me feel comfortable and in excellent hands. I loved the final product - the color was perfect. She did a great job of blending the grays so when they grow in, they won't be as noticeable as if my hair was dark. I felt lighter and pretty when I left the salon - it's amazing what fresh hair can do for one's spirit. I would highly recommend Lucia and the Sweet Spot. Not only does Lucia do a good job, I observed the other stylists and they all do excellent work - there was not one client who walked out of the salon that I thought didn't look good. She proceeded to ruin it by coloring my hair FIRST and THEN CUTTING it, leaving choppy random highlights across the back of my head, with the ends of my hair still my natural color. She literally ARGUED with me that it was perfectly fine-claiming that partial balayage is a few inches from the crown of the head. NO LADY, balayage are highlights from the ends of the hair. I had showed her pictures-including ones FROM HER SITE of partial balayage, and she said she understood. After I informed her that it looked nothing like the pictures, she changes what she said and claims that those clients paid more $$ and had blonde/red hair beforehand. She DID NOT tell me that in the beginning and had instead reassured me she could be able to reproduce the same results with my original hair. In the end she finished the bottom part but the color did not match, and the cut was quite horrendous as well. Would not wish anyone to have their beautiful hair ruined.
