Mostly DJ's but occasionally live music and Rock Nights with bands. The dance floor is not huge and usually packed. It bounces too especially when groups of Goths in New Rocks are jumping around. This is the third floor too. Not designed for the disabled as lots of steep stairs to the free cloakroom and ticket office. Loud, friendly and jumping this is an established place having been there around 25 years or more and just as popular now as it always was. Drinks and cocktails are reasonably priced. Plenty of room to circulate if you are good at pushing. The long bar can involve a wait or misheard orders but not much of a problem. One corner used to be called Goth Corner as it was where they all congregated but now the students seem to have discovered it too. You can often find a seat there or else you will stand. Once upon a time you always stuck to the bar floor but they seem to have solved that problem. A shame as it was famous for it. A good night out but your ears will ring for hours.

It is spread over three floors and has many different rooms all playing various sorts of music that suit all tastes. Last year they had a very good female artist playing guitar and singing then in the next room it was 80's Old Skool!! The staff are very helpful and door staff friendly, I have rarely seen any trouble or 'incidents' at Sugar Mill, the people that go in there are generally over 21 and just want to have a good night.

Upstairs you have the club, complete with dancefloor, bar, DJ and pole dancing poles. The drinks in Legends are expensive, there is also an entry charge, which in my opinion it isnt worth paying for. At the age of 24 years old i felt old going in here, but then who wouldnt when you are surrounded by 16 and 17 year olds? Legend is very relaxed on their rules of who they let in i guess this is because they are struggling to get customers and need the money coming in! If your idea of a good night is dancing around with a group of teenagers then Legend is the place for you, it certainly wasnt for me.

The median age for the crowd at Infernos seems to be a bit higher than those of some of the other clubs. There is a cover charge (can't remember what it was...oops). However, the interior is much nicer than a lot of the other clubs, so it has that going for it. There is quite a bit of seating (some of it probably left from when it was a Mexican restaurant called Que Pasa... back in the day) if you would prefer to sit, chat, and have a drink, but there is the dance floor further back with a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights. Drinks are a little on the pricey side. You'd probably find me here in an attempt to have a night out, but not run into my students...
