As far as casinos go, this place is pretty tiny. You have to buy a membership in order to go in, but the membership fee (20 euros I think?) gets you 1 free cocktail + 10 euros to gamble. There's lots of older slot machines that were very sparingly used the evening I went (midweek).
However, as I'm not a slot player, I immediately went to the tables. I found the blackjack table and set to work. One nuance of the game (not sure if it's all over Europe or just at this casino). Is that they don't burn the cards after each game. Instead they reshuffle them back into the automatic card shuffler - in effect, each new hand is a brand new deck.
I was pretty breakeven for a good 20-30 mins, until I finally hit a few good hands and won 100 Euros. That was enough for me - I enjoyed my free cocktail and cashed out with enough to buy a few overpriced souvenirs in the plaza outside.
Stop by if you are curious or you really have the urge o gamble, but if you can't go, don't worry - you haven't missed all that much. read more
