The food is almost always noteworthy, the service is excellent and the place has a very cool, classic atmosphere. The type and quality of the food I've had here is unlike anything I've been able to get within at least 45 miles. From appetizers (like the pan fried southwestern crab cakes, served with a salsa remoulade and avocado mouse), to soups (the Baked French Onion is always awesome), to salads (they have a surprisingly good berry salad, with huge seasonal berries, pecans, mandarin oranges and mixed greens, served with a raspberry vinaigrette) to entrees like their popcorn crusted scallops served with homemade butternut squash gnocchi. Popcorn crusted scallops? Yes! And it works brilliantly. And of course, steaks, fish and all the staples along with some other fun stuff. Last but far from least, the bar area (where my wife typically start and end each meal) is totally vintage with fixed post swivel chairs and a sunken bartender area. The bar is stocked with whatever you could want and the bartender is always top notch. It's a great place to kick back and forget about wherever you need to be next.

They went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly, bent over backwards to do everything and anything to help us with our special day. All of our family and friends were so impressed by the venue, accommodations and service provided! Not only were those two nights amazing, there was months of communication, and service in the whole entire planning process along the way thru the engagement to make sure everything was set and in order. This place went above and beyond..and we will forever be grateful and appreciative of their help, and service and genuinely caring about making sure our wedding was extra special!

I've known some pretty good golfers who have been thrown by expecting the course to be super easy, too. 0/10 wouldn't recommend John the warden came up screaming…read moreat us that we were being too slow (we were keeping up and waiting for the group ahead) he made us split up as a group then called us "f*cking morons" for thinking we could have a group of 6 Funny thing is we called the day before and they approved it of us booking 2 separate tee times. He also said we disrespected the course for driving on the grass (then make cart paths-there wasn't through paths in a lot of areas) He argued over us getting a refund for the back nine so we could just leave instead of finishing out and he gave us $25 out of our $85 dollar fee. The only person that helped us out to get the refund was showing John the warden how to work the computer to do a refund too. I hope you never go to this course if it is the only course with open tee times
