If you're looking for big city quality dining in the Iron Mountain area, you've just found it…read more You must be a member or with a member to drink or dine at the Chippewa Club, but if you enjoy good food and either live in or frequent the area, I'd highly recommend it. The food is almost always noteworthy, the service is excellent and the place has a very cool, classic atmosphere. The type and quality of the food I've had here is unlike anything I've been able to get within at least 45 miles. From appetizers (like the pan fried southwestern crab cakes, served with a salsa remoulade and avocado mouse), to soups (the Baked French Onion is always awesome), to salads (they have a surprisingly good berry salad, with huge seasonal berries, pecans, mandarin oranges and mixed greens, served with a raspberry vinaigrette) to entrees like their popcorn crusted scallops served with homemade butternut squash gnocchi. Popcorn crusted scallops? Yes! And it works brilliantly. And of course, steaks, fish and all the staples along with some other fun stuff. Last but far from least, the bar area (where my wife typically start and end each meal) is totally vintage with fixed post swivel chairs and a sunken bartender area. The bar is stocked with whatever you could want and the bartender is always top notch. It's a great place to kick back and forget about wherever you need to be next.

They went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly, bent over backwards to do everything and anything to help us with our special day. Not only were those two nights amazing, there was months of communication, and service in the whole entire planning process along the way thru the engagement to make sure everything was set and in order. We booked a public tee time and the members/Mens league thought it would be time tee off at the same time as us and we said they could pass us and they said we should play the back 9 and when we went to go play it this guy thought we owned the place and one of his friends said they would shot the ranger. August 4 0/10 Went to the range to practice and the the ranger John started screaming at me and my friends so we left to get food and my chicken was raw and they wouldn't refund me. Don't eat there food , don't play the corse just don't ever go there.
