Initially I had recommended my family go here for behavioral health support. Unfortunately…read moreyesterday's telephone call made me rethink my decision to refer my family. I am aware of no show policies as I too work as a mental health provider, however if a provider says they have an appointment then they need to be on the call for that appointment or inform their patient if they cannot make the appointment. I was made aware there were a few no shows for various reasons on the part of the patient however when my sibling called to follow up the receptionist who I believe is named Francis she told my sibling her therapist "she closed the case and does not want to work with you anymore." The comment made is extremely unprofessional, unkind, and unethical for a number of reasons. Also, when asked if my sibling could be re-assigned to another provider I was informed she couldn't. I asked if this was apart of their policy and Francis told me "No, they just don't want to see her." People seek BH/MH support to be supported, not to be spoken to in a disrespectful manner. If you are choosing to work their be supportive and helpful, not rude. Also, when making decisions don't base it off of your own opinion base it off of policy. If providers and staff are choosing to work here educate yourself, be mindful and sensitive to the population of people you are serving. Lastly, don't give authorization numbers while on the phone with someone, this is unprofessional. I hope no one else has been treated in this manner. Do better Emmaus.

Like this place a lot! It looks recently renovated or redesigned: it's very trendy. Too bad it was…read moreempty when I went but that just meant that the bartender was more attentive to me. But I will say, the prices here are pretty steep. Choose your poison wisely. I love the outdoor seating area. It does get loud because of the pool but in the evening, it was nice and breezy. Will be back!

My wife and I went in for a drink and my wife ordered a martini. Couple of things, the bartender…read morewas looking up how to make the martini on his phone, made the martini and then proceeded to dig into the huge jar of olives with his bare hands, then set it down on a crooked coaster so it spilled all over, didn't offer to clean it up or apologize. My wife felt the glass and it was warm. She asked if he could just shake it with ice to make it cold and he did, but also re-touched all of the olives with his bare hands to put back into the martini, and then served it with two straws. All the while he kept running his hands through his hair... my wife never touched the martini, we paid and left. He was a super nice guy but he should know better etiquette when working as the bartender of a nice hotel bar and for sure should know how to make a martini as its a staple drink. Very disappointed with our visit, unfortunately.
