Then I found two identical wire hanging baskets... one for $4.99 and the other for $12.99 and that one was missing the hook to hang them! WHO prices these things depends on what you pay, I guess! Goodwill has gotten very very VERY greedy, considering these items were donated to them FOR FREE, and they mark them up BEYOND what they're worth brand new, let alone used from a garage sale. And the inconsistency in pricing lets you know how greedy they actually are.

One little Tortie calico started cozying up to me. shy be willing. She looked like a kitten, so I made a deal with her. mind the rodent population in the barn and you can stay. not more than two weeks passed and I went to my bard to find 5 fuzzy little kittens staring at me. Who was the mom!? Not that tiny kitten I've been adopted by??? YES! They were indeed hers and another week later, she had gone and left them to me to care for! Of the Three who lived to be old enough to have spayed, I was able to get them treated on vouchers issued from C.F.A. And together we put the brakes on spreading the population and diseases. The three are thriving near and around my little minifarm. catching voles and rats and once in a while allowing me a full on cuddle session.

When a new employee came in nobody introduced me even though was standing a couple feet away. I introduced myself. Visitors came and even though I was standing next to employees nobody introduced me. I gave a beautiful flower vase for an auction and it was only on the web just a few days before closing. I was appalled at the photo uploaded. Gray, ugly and looked like it had a crack. I would have gladly submitted a photo if asked. I went to an artist friend and she donated an expensive painting. I went to local businesses asking about donations. When I told the community representative that I was not returning all she asked was if I could give some reasons to facilitate interaction with future volunteers. No concern for me at all. I have no idea about the reason for the disrespect. I did joke about hair picked up from the vacuum but mentioned it could also be dog hair. When an employee was leaving everyone was at the table. Just as a joke I asked "was it something we said"? She did not smile and said " it was you Judy"! Nobody laughed and I didn't know what to do. I still don't know what I could have possibly done. I saw a local festival with proceeds going to Concern for Animals. I would love to go but refuse to support an organization that treats volunteers this way.

They also like a good conversation so it was nice to talk and learn more about the town. At the time they were having a 50% off sale for the whole store excluding the $1 rack they had outside the store. (For a $1, it's already the best deal!) Out of that $1 rack, I was able to put together the cutest outfit and most were like new if not brand new. Also had a lot of nice brand and quality clothes. They have so many unique things for Halloween, and the coolest vintage jackets and bags. Will be my go to spot whenever I drive back down. There's something for everybody here!

And forget if you have any type of family emergencies or even having a baby they get pissed if you miss any work to be there for the birth of your child, and don't expect to be able to stay home for a few days to enjoy the new life you brought into the world cause they will get pissed and annoyed. Even if your baby ends up in the hospital cause there really sick and you want to stay to at least get test back and figure out what's wrong with them they will Scold you for caring about your child and threaten your job for not caring about your work. Because to them work comes first and not your family. Even better if a client threatens you with a knife and your life they don't care they will take a month to do an investigation with no pay or call you back to inform you how much longer, they won't even have you come in to discuss what will happen, they will just send a letter saying your fired cause someone pulled a knife on you, and will use the days you missed to be there for your baby being born and in the hospital against you saying that is part of the reason you where fired. This place says they are Christians and care but in all honesty if it's not there clients and money they could care less about you. Also the head boss don't ever expect a call cause pansys don't ever try to talk to you, he will try any way he can not to have to talk to you and if he does he will send a letter to communicate and if you have any questions about it, just forget it cause once he's done with you nothing you have to say matters. So if you want a place that doesn't care about you as staff and all about money and want you to careless about your family this is by far the place for you!!
