Left side is the gift shop and lots of things to choose from like growlers, shirts, beer, hoodies, etc. Kind staff. We unfortunately missed the tour. The bar has some food and snacks. The back wall has several beers and ciders to choose from. We sat outside and has 2 firepits, extra seating and even seen a band playing ($2 bill) that made our night relaxing. They also has a food truck out front of entrance with a variety of choices. Restrooms were clean as well as the entire location. I seen a few children and dogs outside along with everyone else. They had cornhole and several board games outdoor/ indoor. You can order food/drinks from the bar outside at a screened location. They have beer and cider flights as well. Parking is across the street and no crosswalk. So be careful.

I was a little nervous as I had to measure the existing cover and use those measurements to order a new one. I was warned that I would essentially loose the approx $500. if it didn't fit. That was a little scary. Scott in Stevens Point told us how to measure so that was at least reassuring. I expected to have to pick up the cover myself at the store when it came in but I was surprised when Chase delivered the new one and took the old one. Let's face it- there's not a lot of money made on these types of service calls. Chase was efficient and quick. Thanks Stevens Point guys!

We were planning on building a deck with a hot tub in the spring so in December we ordered a hut tub to be delivered to our house in late APRIL . The Pool people store manager suggested we ordered it to be delivered to Wisconsin ( either his main warehouse OR his store . We were gone until April and did not have room to hold it on our property . We get a call in March from their warehouse in Mosinee asking when we'd like the delivery. We told him at the end of April or early May . It was like he was NOT told by the Stevens Point store that we could NOT take delivery until we start construction in late April or early May . He did NOT understand and continued to try to schedule . He continued to complain that he did not have room . NOT OUR PROBLEM. We then told him to call the Steven Point manager who never forwarded the delivery instructions. That was just the beginning of poor customer service and how unorganized the Pool People company is . The manager at the Steven Point store continued to lie to us about what happened, like he didn't understand how anything could go wrong . HE HAD NEVER FORWARDED ANY DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS. That however was no excuse from the angry warehouse personnel. In early May we then arranged for deliver . We we're scheduled for midday delivery , late morning to early afternoon . At around 5 PM we called and they said one of the delivery drivers had not shown up and that it would be delivered the next day . MOST Companies would CALL the customers in the MORNING if the will MOT be able to DELIVER. NOT have the customer WAIT until end of day for the CUSTOMER to Call . They then Said It would be delivered the next day . We were sinking the hot tub into the deck and the contractor wants the frame AFTER we had the hot tub . Needles to say , the next day NO SHOW, NO CALL . We could NOT wait for the hot tub to continue construction . After the second NO SHOW , we called the warehouse and talked to someone that said the owner would be delivering it in a few hours . When the hot tub arrived, there were 2 gentlemen but neither were the owner . There was one ANGRY man that appeared to be in charge. I went outside and he asked where do they need to deliver it . When he saw that h they had to install it INTO the framed spot, he really got RUDE . He got out a tape measure and started measuring all sorts of things , and the Questioning me on the Dimensions of the opening our contractor had taken off the literature we had on the hot tub . As he Continued to whine and badger me about the opening, I reminded him the Hot Tub was Supposed to be DELIVERED 3 Days earlier. They then proceeded to insert it into the perfectly framed spot . When finished, the supervisor did NOT TALK TO ME and had the Other gentleman have me sign the paperwork . Very childish, NOT PR

Where to begin...hmmm. First off, my husband and I have been coming to Shotgun Eddys for the past…read morefew years, and we absolutely love it there! Above all else, we look forward to coming there every year, and we are thankful for the employees/owners who help run and operate such a wonderful place. It's a place that's been around for many, many years, and the experiences you enjoy are proof as to why it's still here. Many reviews claim it's dangerous, that the employees don't give proper instruction, or that there is too much nature....in nature. To that, I would say this is not some lazy river in the dells. This is out in the wilderness, and you are warned of the dangers and sign a waiver before being allowed to raft. Do not come here expecting someone to hold your hand and guide you through every paddle you take. You are one your own after they drop you off ( you are, however, picked up at the end) . If you have cell service, they have an emergency number to contact them....but if you dont have cell service its not their fault, blame your phone company. Though you are given instructions on which sides of the river are better to take depending on the start and finish( and a map...which is prerty straigh forward...stay to the left/center until you past the first rapid to avoid the strong current of the streams on the right. After that, stick to the center until you come to the bridge at the end where you stay to the right before going over the last rapid.) You are also given a helmet and a life vest that they make sure fit you well before you are sent out. As well they tell you what to do and how to sit in the raft when going over rapids, or if by chance you fall out. Though advice does not prevent you from accidents or injury, you also can not blame the staff/owner on what mother nature herself has built and constructed and that you are fully willing to venture down. On that note, if you are camping there or just rafting, you are in the wilderness, not in some resort! There will be bugs, but this also means that there will be plenty of wildlife to be seen as well. If bugs are the worst of your worries, this place is not for you! We go there knowing there are risks involved, but then again, what good things in life don't have risks? Also, no one has ever forced us to go. We happily go each year and look forward to it. We aren't some super experienced white water rafting people, we only go once a year here. I will say if the water is low that you'll have to work a little harder to get past some rocks, and if it's high that going over the rapids may seem scarier, but you are provided a helmet and life jacket for a reason. We pay attention to the water and work together to navigate over the rapids as best we can (again just amateurs) , and we've never had anything more than a little bruise here or there. Everyone is different, though, and can do things differently from how we do. But you can not blame the business for your own actions on the river or any injuries when you are fully warned and again...sign a waiver knowing full well of the possible dangers on your trip. Too many people write reviews telling of bad experiences that sound more like someone who doesn't know what the true outdoors are like and wasn't prepared to rough it a little. Overall, this place is amazing, the campsite is well maintained and cozy, and the rafting brings adventure and many fun memories for those willing to take on the task. This place is one of a kind and will give you moments of a lifetime. But again, don't come if you're not willing to deal with the outdoors, paddling, or if you're looking for some wisconsin dells Waterpark resort. Come here if you're looking to get some thrills, have fun, and enjoy the beautiful wisconsin scenery. To all at Shotgun Eddys, Thank you for all your hard work! We'll see you next year. I live in Los Angeles, so I've been to the very best movie palaces in the world (Grauman's Chinese…read moreTheatre, the Cinerama Dome), and also some of the worst (dollar movies in decaying, poorly-managed, sticky cinemas in the valley). I'd last been to Rogers as a teen, but I didn't know what to expect decades later, especially after a standard of literal Hollywood-quality experiences. The Wis. Rapids Rogers is a bemusing little theatre - no frills, not even a marquee, but there's a set of wing chairs to fancy up your wait if it's too early to enter your cinema. The workers were, unsurprisingly, gum-cracking teens, who were polite and efficient. The place was clean. There's a tiny parking lot, and plenty more parking on the side streets, all free. The cinema itself was larger than I expected, with fairly comfortable seats. Sound and picture quality were fine. Happy to report that this Rogers is a well-maintained, serviceable movie theatre.
