To be frank with you I pass this place all the time and had no idea it was Rochester's oldest…read morerunning private club. I went here for a luncheon a group of us were invited by members of this esteemed club. They have private parking and a valet a plus. It's light and bright and pretty old school, they have a bartender, nice staff and good food. It was all done up for Christmas as this was the time I went. I believe to become a member you have to be sponsored to join basically like any private club. If asked to join you have "basically arrived" I don't doubt they have other events, like a wedding, prom and other parties as long as your sponsored by a member this is my thought. Hopefully I will go back for other events if I am invited. Stay tuned.. if your invited go it's old school in a good way. Cheers

My wife and I joined the Valley Club recently to expand our social network and also for our small…read morechildren to participate in more activities. So far we like what the club has to offer. Our 3 year old has picked up some tennis lessons and we have attended a few brunches (Santa) and happy hours. I foresee us using the Club to entertain out-of-towners and for dinner on special occasions. I will all try to pick up paddle or pickleball at some point. I imagine it's also a good place to network for business (not for me) and to meet people you wouldn't necessarily meet in your existing network.

I had the Caesar salad to start followed by the shrimp and scallops scampi. Fresh hot rolls were served up as well. Drinks were a plenty and the night was spectacular. It definitely made this birthday super special and one to remember for a long time to come. The birthday cake with the fresh raspberries was the finishing touch. It was easily the best cake I have ever had.

They have 3 Skeet and 4 Trap fields but do not have Sporting Clays or rifle/pistol range. All of the members and people who shoot are very nice and willing to help any new shooters. The old timers seem to be very exited to introduce and teach the games of Skeet and Trap to new shooters and they have some great younger shooters who compete and were always willing to help my friends and I with tips. They also do private parties and group shooting with instructions. They sell gun shells so you do not have to buy your own, however, it would be cheaper if you do.

I have been to two discussion-style classes at 540 and have really enjoyed both. Owner/director Calvin is a great class facilitator, and his passion for the local community is evident. Support this fantastic non-profit by taking an online class during the pandemic. I know I need the decluttering webinar!

A very fun place that Calvin, the owner and proprietor has developed as a space to hold every type…read moreof event from community meetings, yoga to tonight's beer and cheese tasting. Calvin has local interns from the Rochester Works program a d exhibits local artists weekly. This was a very friendly place to go. Rebecca the Cheese monger, from Hart's grocery, served NY State cheeses and local craft beer and made everybody feel educated on how fun it can be to serve cheese, on boards with dried or fresh fruit charcuterie, nuts and more alongside adult beverages for appetizers or as part of a cheese course. There were a wide range of people in attendance. I love seeing locals come back to the Rochester area and renovate historical properties and rebuild areas that have been part of Rochester's unique history. I wish parking was a bit better, but if you are lucky you can catch a spot on Main street or one of the side roads. Fun times. I wish I could do half points as this would get a 4.5 as a fun place to put together a small gathering near the Susan B. Anthony house.
