2021 has been a year of surprises and the best BY FAR has been working with Rebekkah again. This…read moreis our 5th major project with her since 2008 and she has once again delivered beyond our expectations! The project included a full remodel of the 2nd floor bathroom (21 years old), bedroom attached to bathroom, office and workout/yoga room. Our goal was minimalism with a simple, elegant, organic feel. I had been saying I wanted to go "minimalistic" for years and didn't realize how challenging it would be to make the few items that we needed come together in rooms that we loved. Ultimately, with the careful selection of each item, a lot of "Sherwin William's Pure White" and longer than normal delivery times, it all came together to create beautiful, quiet and peaceful spaces. The biggest challenge of the entire project was all of my bathroom "homework" photos included a floating wood vanity with no cabinets or pipes below. It turned out this was not something you could easily buy. After a lot of researching options, Rebekkah ended up providing a rough draft of the vanity design to our GC, Bennett Construction Company, and they amiably agreed to take on the project and include it in their estimate. The end result is a beautiful white oak vanity that is the focal point of the room. It was essential in creating the warmth needed to balance the space for the organic feel we desired. Each room has a slightly different feel but they are pulled together with color, minimal decor and a subtle sense of peacefulness. We highly recommend Rebekkah Davies Interiors + Design for making your home dreams come true.

We felt like we were in someone else's home. Someone who had a lot more money than us! Martins isn't just a builder, or a designer. He's an artist. When you bring someone into your home to change it forever, you have to trust that person. When Martins came by for our first free consultation (something other people had charged us for), he stayed for two hours. He wanted to get to know us, and figure out exactly what kind of home we wanted. To say he cares about his work is an understatement! Other people we looked at charged us for that first visit, came in, took measurements, were out in 30 minutes, and then provided some cookie-cutter recommendations. Besides his off-the-charts talent, he is honest, flexible, responsive and easy and fun to work with... not to mention reasonable. He even provided us with guidance and recommendations to bring the overall costs down. If you're looking to do renovations on your home, that not only are beautiful, but also unique and specific to you and your family, your search is over. When you look at the "before-and-after" pictures, it is clear that the results of her work are impressive, even with the extremely tight budget and schedule that we had to work with. Adina's designs show her passion and creativity for developing living universes, that people want to immerse and surround themselves with, as soon as they see them. When you see one of her designs, you immediately feel the desire to be in that space. She has an impressive gift to transform spaces in ways you cannot imagine beforehand, with color combinations you would have not imagined, but when you see the finished product, you love them because it is absolutely superb and pleasing. It simply feels good... I enjoy working with Adina as she is very talented, creative, honest and daring. She is direct and confident in her radical ideas, clear on expectations, and punctual. I was surprised a few times by some suggestions she made, that I thought would not look good (...what do I know?), but I trusted her, went with it, and found out they were the best solutions for the spaces we were renovating. I LOVED the outcome. I learned not to second-guess her ever again, and to fully trust her. Whatever she creates, is going to look and feel great in the end! She is a perfectionist with a budget in mind. Adina's designs are "out-of-the-box", on the leading edge of creativity in art, they are modern, daring, and well balanced. The color schemes she chooses are always exquisite, delightful to the eye, attractive to the mind, and relaxing to the heart and soul. Adina's portfolio is surprisingly vast with projects such as Village Market in Chicago, Google and Leo Burnett offices, ISI Headquarters as well as various residential and hospitality renovations. She led the design and implementation for the Village Market - a large commercial complex in the heart of Chicago. I saw it first in a pencil sketch, then in 2D. She continued to work and I saw the first 3 Dimensional rendering, and ... 3 years later, when I visited Chicago, she took me to a location that gave me the same exact view of the Village Market as I saw last time in her portfolio picture, only this time... it was the real thing (brick & mortar), beautifully executed by her to match the original vision. Adina is highly conscious and efficient when it comes to cost. She has hands-on knowledge of materials & costs, and she has developed a network of strategic partners in the industry, who can provide you promotional discounted prices and/or expedited deliveries to her clients. She is a pleasure to work with, she is well organized and always listens well to her clients, understanding their needs and wants. She told me that her main objective in business is to make sure -in any project- the end results will meet her client's goals: architectural, financial, and timeline. With a well-controlled and tight budget, she is making wonders. I highly recommend her and her work to anyone needing assistance with an architectural project. Whether is a simple garage addition, a Media Room, or more complex project that requires an artful & attractive (art-tractive) design, an interior face-lift, or something done in a cost-efficient way, and done quickly, Adina always has the best (and usually most unexpected!) solution. It is worth mentioning that you will still have money in the bank at the end of the project she designs for you! You will be happy to see how much life Adina will bring into your project. Adina's work is an enchanting mixture of harmony, balance, and creativity that meet in absolute beauty. I hope you get an opportunity to work with Adina on your next project so you can enjoy one of her truly uplifting transformations. Call her / write now!

My answer was always pretty much the same- the basement! We basically moved our tiny city condo into the basement of our new house. And guess what that means...we need to buy a lot of furniture to fill up the actual house! I didn't even know where to start when it came to decorating my new house, especially with 2 little ones and a FT job. Just looking around all the empty rooms after we bought it really stressed me out. I decided what I needed was an interior designer. I reached out to a bunch of friends who had moved recently and did a bit of research on Yelp..and started making some calls. As soon as I chatted with Erin from EEB Interiors I knew I'd found my woman. It helped that my friend who was currently using her for a complete house renovation couldn't stop raving about her. On top of that Erin was super personable, professional and seemed to "get" the European decor I wanted for my house. It sealed the deal when I found out that her hourly rate was way below all the other designers I had "interviewed." Erin also passes on the majority of her discount for furniture to her clients, which actually makes up for the hourly fee we paid her. It's by no means a bargain to use EEB Interiors (let alone any designer), but I do feel like we were able to get much more quality furniture thanks to Erin's discount. Months later I can say I made the right choice by hiring Erin. . Her communication skills are unbelievable. I'm known to be pretty fast when it comes to answering emails, but I think Erin may be respond even faster. I rarely have to follow-up with her on anything because she's on top of every little detail...and from furniture to paint colors to window treatments to tracking shipments there sure are a lot of details to keep track of. Details that I'm very happy to pay her to take care of so I can focus my time on my little ones and job. I typically tell Erin what I'm looking for and then she narrows it down to a few options for me to choose from. She has incredible taste and always gets it right. There have been a few times that I've asked her to go back to the drawing board for less costly items and she always comes back with something great. I really like that she's OK working with any budget because that didn't seem to be the case with all the other designers I chatted with before hiring Erin. We're furnishing our house slowly room by room and just had our first big shipment for the 3 main rooms. Everything piece of furniture looks even more gorgeous in person (if possible). I can't wait for Erin to come over this week to help me complete the look with accessories...and then on to the rest of the house. Decorating your new home should be fun, not stressful...and it's guaranteed to be a good time (and result in a beautiful new home) with EEB Interiors.

I also wanted to make one of the rooms into a home office that looked as if it had been a baby's room before. I found out about EEB Interiors through a coworker that was really happy with their work, and looked at the website because I wanted someone who could mesh with my personal style. I really liked the residential design photos, so I gave them a call. Erin, the owner, was really personable on the phone and when we met. She was also really good at honing in on my style and offering me choices and ideas I hadn't thought of before. Before we called EEB, we had been around to other stores in the area looking for something not so run-of-the-mill, and had a hard time finding something that didn't look like all the others. I wanted something that was higher quality and more unique than what I had been finding at the standard retail stores. EEB had access to all these amazing sources that aren't open to the public that had really different stuff that I just loved and hadn't seen before. The knowledge and designer sources helped us create the high-end look we were trying to achieve. I am a person who prefers quality and work well done over a strict schedule, but everything got done in a very timely fashion, and we are really happy with the new look! Definitely worth it.

Natalia has been incredibly helpful in guiding us through big, impactful design decisions that are practical and thoughtful, while also keeping costs reasonable since we don't want to invest too much in a rental property. I also didn't want an interior designer to fully design every detail of the place. I wanted to be involved in choosing pieces myself, but have someone I could trust to advise me on whether things would actually work in our space, and Natalia has been perfect for that. Reader, he remembered us from a month ago--the only other time I've been in this store. I know he wasn't just saying that because he cooed over my baby and specifically remarked about the fact that she was awake this time instead of sleeping through the shopping trip (which was true). This is what makes shopping at local businesses so much fun; you get to established a rapport with someone who lives what they do, lives their neighbors, and wants to make sure that you enjoy shopping with them. Again as I came through I thought about how I wish I could hire an interior designer with Kenneth Ludwig on the shortlist. They didn't disappoint with their Christmas decor. They have lots of ornaments, all beautiful, and other holiday items. I REALLY love the stocking holders they have. I think it is maybe difficult for some people to think about investing in the services of a designer, but we've said again and again since then about how much time and anxiety and probably one it has saved us since then because we ended up with paint and furniture that we loved right away.
