When I got it back it had 13 major dents. I called to ask along with some emailed pictures. Chuck told me that he heard them doing this and went out to see what was going on. I was told it would have been much more expensive to do if they didn't do it like that, I never asked about price since this was an important part that was going to be polished. I was told that the new owner (the daughter Anna) wasn't willing to do anything about it,and we're not interested in doing business with me any longer. I asked chuck what was going on and he told me that she signs his pay checks sp that's it!! So not only did I have to buy another piece of stainless steel @ $1700.00, I had to find someone else to do the work. Alex was upfront from the beginning after making the same diagnosis and even encouraged me to get quotes from other mechanics if it made me feel more comfortable so I could make sure I was getting a fair deal. That kind of confidence and transparency is hard to find. When I arrived, he was able to get my car in within about 30 minutes to diagnose it. While the part was being delivered, I went to lunch, and once I came back, he had the wheel bearing replaced in about 45 minutes.
