I want to add more love and gratitude for St. Francis (Dr. Cheeks, Dr. Garner, Dr. Landes, Mary, Kylee, Ashley, and everyone else) for never ever suggesting Matilda pass earlier, for always believing in her and greeting her with optimism and genuine happiness to see her, for bringing her relief and medical care that sustained her quality of life, for Dr. Cheeks' reassurance on the most painful day and for remembering that Matilda's ears were cute and soft, and for all of the love and support for her on her last day. My heart is broken to pieces, but I would have been broken sooner had it not been for the love and care of SFAH. Thank you, always. It would take way too long to write how much I love this place. I know everyone here, they all know my pets and me by name, and I feel like I'm a part of their family. I have made friends here, found my pet sitter here, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for when she comes in, and they have even helped me make flexible payments when I was struggling to pay from another country. Dr. Landes is another important part of the team, and she and her staff do chiropractic adjustments and red light laser therapy on my dog for her arthritis. I so appreciate her intelligence and resourceful ways in tackling all available healing methods. Dr. Garner is especially brilliant, invaluable, and a core part of the foundation of this business. Anytime I bring my dog in, he comes out and sits down with me and explains everything to me for quite some time so that I can make an informed decision based on my financial ability and the fact that I love my dog and want to keep her as happy as possible for as long as possible. I am so grateful for him and for the whole team. This is my forever primary vet for as long as I live in the CSRA.

They are compassionate and reasonable and take the Care card from synchrony that truly helps pay the vet bills in time w no interest as long as it's paid on time and in full by the set date (6-12-24 months depending on cost total). The entire team at Martinez animal hospital are pleasant to work with and they have walk in services in the morning that also helps when appts are full but you need to get in to see the vet. It was not hard to figure out that the staff was making it Safe for our delicate parrots to have their undivided attention. The cost for the wellness check, beak, nail and wing trim was so low that I was sure that they had made a mistake. MAH uses care credit which makes paying more comfortable. The parking lot is more than adequate. The only downside is exiting the parking lot, especially In the afternoon. It can get a little hectic. My family is very grateful for an avian Vet close by. First and foremost, the young lady at the front desk (who was not Peggy) was kind, smiling, welcoming, and friendly with both her words and demeanor. She asked us to wait one moment while she checked out another customer, which was quick and easy, and immediately checked us in. We discussed the reason for our visit, and she happily took our pet to the back for her immunization. She returned a few minutes later with my pet and led us to an exam room so that Dr. Henderson could speak with us. There was no lengthy wait this time; Dr. Henderson was in the room within two minutes. She went over my pet's health, reason for our pet's visit, and asked if we had any other questions regarding our pet's health or the visit in general, of which I didn't have any. Dr. Henderson then apologized for the events of our last visit. She reassured me that the new office manager had been informed of the events, and instituted changes that should prevent any further issues in the future. To be fair, it appeared to me that these changes were effective considering the night-day difference between our last visit only two weeks ago and now. Dr. Henderson offered me an opportunity to speak with the manager myself, to which I declined, and commented that our visit today was a completely different experience from our previous visit. I thanked her for the opportunity, and that was the end of our interaction. Checkout was super quick and easy, and the bill was much MUCH better this time, and on par with previous billing for the same type of visit. I hope that this experience is the new standard at Paradise: A friendly, professional, and welcoming front desk; adherence to appointment times with little or no waiting (things do happen, it's understandable. But minimize the impact on other appointments); a quick, no-nonsense appointment with an awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and personable veterinarian; comparable and competitive pricing for services. Time will tell, but I am encouraged.

After this very scary and expensive ordeal i knew i had to find the right primary care vet for hazel. I was referred to Dr. Smith and was very impressed! I called to make an appointment around 9:30 in the morning and was told to come in the same day at 11:00. Not only did they get me in quickly, but Dr. Smith sat w/ me for almost an hour answering ALL of my questions and discussed safer treatment options for Hazel's mange. And instead of trying to squeeze as much money out of me as possible, and running all sorts of crazy, unnecessary tests (like many vets I've been to) he sent on my way w/ a very reasonable bill and peace of mind knowing he has hazel's best interest at heart. I have a short list of people I would do anything for. I'm not talking about run-of-the-mill "can…read moreyou pick up a iced frap on your way over?" type of action, but whatever it takes to protect them kind of action. I say this because it also applies to four furry members of our family as well. Oscar, Benny, Bella, and now Charlie (recent addition) nap and snore with ease as they know I will keep them safe and fed at all cost. So any care and love shown to them is indirectly shown to me. Thus the reason for this review. Our previous grooming suddenly closed. As someone who is not about to attempt clipping toenails aside from my own and with a senior who needs monthly haircuts, this was a crisis. I had visited Woof Gang a few times when they were at their former location, but not since they had moved in front of Fresh Market. It was too vital to entrust this process to online only so I stopped by in person. The team was friendly, helpful, and very patient with my questions. I was still a little nervous as I pulled into the parking lot with the crew, but it was due to me being over worrisome. When the three of them (Charlie had not yet joined us) came out for pick up I almost had tears welling up in my eyes. They were the cutest trio you have ever seen. The haircuts and trims were perfect and the bandanas they were wearing made it a spontaneous photo session. But then along came Charlie. This guy is a senior hospice foster, which means we will love him until he passes in the days/weeks ahead. The shelter labeled him a Shih Tzu, but the groomer thought him to be a Brussels Griffon (the breed Ewoks in the Star Wars movie are modeled after). The grooming was right. When they brought him out he was the most handsome little old Ewok/man you have ever seen. They had cleaned away the matted fur and overgrown nails. All he needed was a cardigan sweater and a pipe. I am deeply grateful to not only have a groomer in place, but one where the team sincerely loves dogs, and most importantly my dogs.
