Very sweet staff! Checked out my poor pup after a minor dog fight. The staff was so gentle and sweet for my rescue dog!

I have made friends here, found my pet sitter here, they have gone above and beyond to make sure my dog is cared for when she comes in, and they have even helped me make flexible payments when I was struggling to pay from another country. Dr. Landes is another important part of the team, and she and her staff do chiropractic adjustments and red light laser therapy on my dog for her arthritis. I so appreciate her intelligence and resourceful ways in tackling all available healing methods. Dr. Garner is especially brilliant, invaluable, and a core part of the foundation of this business. Anytime I bring my dog in, he comes out and sits down with me and explains everything to me for quite some time so that I can make an informed decision based on my financial ability and the fact that I love my dog and want to keep her as happy as possible for as long as possible. I am so grateful for him and for the whole team. This is my forever primary vet for as long as I live in the CSRA.

I have a 4 day work conference in October and needed to do a dry run with my 11 month old pittie. After ***passing*** his 30 minute temperament test (a requirement before they will board your baby), I left him for that weekend while I was home, our first time apart. I was neurotic, he was having a blast. The team sent me videos of him playing the next morning and my heart was warm again. A huge weight lifted off my shoulders. Most importantly, I trust these people. You can't put a price on that. All the staff there are exceptional and care about every one of their pups. Their facility is well laid out, organized and clean. The play yard is also conducive to safety and playtime for my pup. I'll be doing a day care package so he gets socialized. They do it all. Super place and I'm glad I found it.

Did my homework on boarders and this one came highly recommended. They require a temperament test (which is good!), and my dog passed with flying colors. When I picked him up, he was happy, tired, and -- best of all -- didn't stink... which isn't always the case after being around a bunch of dogs for a few nights! Very, very reasonable prices. This place will be my go-to, and I'll probably get my dog groomed here next time he needs a cut too!

I have been going to this animal hospital for almost ten years and loved the Veterinarian, Dr…read more Gaffigan and her staff. Recently, Dr. Gaffigan, who is getting ready to retire sold her practice to another veterinarian who has changed this sweet and loving place into a money grab. No more complimentary nail trims with exams, no more selling monthly heart/flea/tick protection medicine for a one-month supply for customers that are on a budget. Labs need to be done before renewing medication can be prescribed or administered- for elderly pets that have been on medications that are working! Why put them through that? The hours also changed only being open Monday through Thursday and that is difficult for working adults. I voiced my opinion that to pay for a three-month supply would be difficult for me, as I now rely mostly on social security after a recent cancer diagnosis. I had a well-paying job prior. If you break a package and sell three tablets, why can't you sell just one tablet for people that may have multiple pets like me. I received a letter in the mail that I was rude to staff and would not be welcomed back should my communication not improve. I was not rude; I just expressed my opinion. I have never in my lifetime been given a letter or reprimand like that! I have spent the bulk of my professional career helping people. I worked for hospice and was loved and respected.

In the last 2-3 years - really started to notice substantial increases in prices. Not sure if it is due to new Vet / ownership etc, but my most recent visit was a real shock. Annual for a dog is nearly $400. 1 month flea/heart combo med is nearly $70. They no loner include nail trim as a courtesy with annual exams - rather, they charge is $35.80 for a procedure that lasts less than 5 mins - with a Dremel tool. The staff has always been nice - so no issues there. It's just the costs have gotten crazy - in my opinion. We've had as many as four (4) pets simultaneously in the past. Now down to one (1) - and don't think we will be getting anymore dogs after our last is gone. It's just too expensive. I have a feeling that people are going to just no longer get pets - or not take pets to the VET.

We also took my daughter's dog here when he had Parvo and they gave him excellent care in 2020 and he came home. When the Aiken vet that my husband's family has used for 20+ years, proved it was not a worthy vet, I decided that All God's Creatures would be the place that we would go, no matter how far I had to drive. He had dental surgery scheduled yesterday morning and I called them on Friday to ask if they would be reaching out to let us know of any changes in operating hours on Monday because of the weather. I was assured that they would let me know. Drove 45 minutes and I arrived for surgery at 7:40 AM and nobody was there. I called the only phone number that they have with no answer, knocked on the door and I sat there until 815. There was no way I was going to drive home immediately so I went looking on Facebook to see if there was somebody, anybody that I could reach out to to find out what was going on. I don't follow them on Facebook. And right there was a post saying that they were not going to open until 10:00 AM due to the weather and they would reach out to reschedule via their Facebook page and email. I checked my email and there was nothing. Nohing in junk mail, no phone calls, voicemails, texts. Nothing. Drove another 45 minutes to take my dog home and get myself to work. I'm at work for 30 minutes and I get a phone call asking me to bring him in "now" at which time I explained to her what happened and it was completely blown over. I left work and I went home and got my dog, drove to Augusta again and I took him in. While there I explained to someone else what happened and it again was completely disregarded. "They were supposed to email the cancellations". BUT YOU DIDN'T! And WHY would an email be a sufficient means in which to cancel a surgery??? Not only do I not get notifications for my emails, I don't look at them daily. So even if I had gotten one I wouldn't have known. She tells me they're gonna start the surgery in about 30 minutes and I should get a phone call around 2 PM. Updating me about how it went. I didn't receive any phone call anywhere around 2 o'clock so sometime around 3:30 I started calling to see what was going on. ALL DAY FROM THE MOMENT I TRIED TO DROP HIM OFF I MADE 22 calls and not one was answered. No compensation, no sincere apology, NOTHING. Well, I have a big mouth and I will run it about this interaction until the end of my days when anything involving veterinary care comes up with anyone I'm talking to. For seven years, I've told people about the amazing visits that we've had there and that's over. The staff that you had is clearly not the staff that you have now. My husband also said when he picked him up that the girl at the front was not friendly at all. Also, at our pre-surgical appointment the tech that came into the room was grossly picking food out of her back molars with her fingers after she walked into the room. Gross. And maybe don't do that. On a positive note, it was cheaper than the quote we got at the overrated Aiken Vet and my dog is alive and doing well today.

First and foremost, the young lady at the front desk (who was not Peggy) was kind, smiling, welcoming, and friendly with both her words and demeanor. She asked us to wait one moment while she checked out another customer, which was quick and easy, and immediately checked us in. We discussed the reason for our visit, and she happily took our pet to the back for her immunization. She returned a few minutes later with my pet and led us to an exam room so that Dr. Henderson could speak with us. There was no lengthy wait this time; Dr. Henderson was in the room within two minutes. She went over my pet's health, reason for our pet's visit, and asked if we had any other questions regarding our pet's health or the visit in general, of which I didn't have any. Dr. Henderson then apologized for the events of our last visit. She reassured me that the new office manager had been informed of the events, and instituted changes that should prevent any further issues in the future. To be fair, it appeared to me that these changes were effective considering the night-day difference between our last visit only two weeks ago and now. Dr. Henderson offered me an opportunity to speak with the manager myself, to which I declined, and commented that our visit today was a completely different experience from our previous visit. I thanked her for the opportunity, and that was the end of our interaction. Checkout was super quick and easy, and the bill was much MUCH better this time, and on par with previous billing for the same type of visit. I hope that this experience is the new standard at Paradise: A friendly, professional, and welcoming front desk; adherence to appointment times with little or no waiting (things do happen, it's understandable. But minimize the impact on other appointments); a quick, no-nonsense appointment with an awesome, knowledgeable, friendly and personable veterinarian; comparable and competitive pricing for services. Time will tell, but I am encouraged.
