Personally, my wife and I are at the age that we don't use the park very often. However, when our grandkids were here this past weekend, they wanted to go to "that nice park" you took us to last time we were here (over a year ago). Millstone Creek Park offers a little of everything. Nice assortment of playground equipment; accessible; a variety of activities; sports fields; nature/wetlands area; picnic shelter and restrooms. Plenty of parking. My only suggestion for improvement would be the addition of a few more benches for the grandparents who bring their grandkids to the park.

Nearby is a solar picnic pavilion that generates solar power and offers great shade and picnic tables to take a break from all of the fun. There's a large pond near the parking lot, a memorial located behind the municipal buildings and police department, and winding paved paths that take you around to all of the sights and sounds of the park. The parking lot is good sized and offers some EV charging stations.

It's shaded, both under trees and with a canopy on top, so the slides won't scorch your legs. There's one basketball court, there are some benches, there's a seating area in the woods, there's a ravine with a path. It's not a huge park, but stretched out along the street, and is very shady and pleasant. A good place to eat lunch, play with the kids, just relax.

We wanted to see this awesome statue, because Dublin has lots of amazing public art, and Leatherlips is one of them. But there is so much more to Scioto Park. This is one of the main public parks in Dublin, and it's the site of outdoor concerts in the summer and sledding in the winter. There are also nature trails, a playground, picnic shelters, lots of grassy areas, and places on the trail where you can view the Scioto River, which runs through the park. We also stumbled upon a cute statue diorama of a turtle and a beaver. My kids are obsessed (literally obsessed) with beavers, so when we accidentally came across a beaver statue hidden in the brush, they lost their little minds. You can find these statues near the parking lot.

This is a fun playground located just behind the Shawnee Hills Police Department on Reindeer Road…read more It is a very nice set up - there is a paved sidewalk that connects it to both nearby parking areas (one on Reindeer and one on Cherokee). A little free library, a bench swing, and a shelterhouse are all available. There are a number of picnic tables in the shelterhouse, which provides a nice shady spot for the grown-ups to sit if there are no events taking place. The playground itself is nicely sized and has a lot of options - a lot of slides, monkey bars, a little booth area that my kid used to make believe an ice cream shop, climbing options, a fire pole, and more. There is also a set of swings, both traditional and baby. The base was very soft - possibly recycled shredded tires? A very nice play area!
