NO BEGINNING NO END The fairways leading up to the putting greens were manicured so short that you couldn't tell where the fairway ended and the putting green began. That was the first time I've ever played on a course like that. The greens were undulating and kind of crazy, so you need to be very precise with your shots or the ball will roll all the way to the next fairway since there's no rough to stop it. Also, look at the GPS as you approach, one of the holes I completely aimed for the wrong place where I thought the green was. Stay out of the bunkers. They're kind of hard and reddish. I guess it's far away from the beach, no sand. Overall a fun course, we didn't see any wildlife and since we played on a weekday, there weren't that many people ahead or behind of us. NO TREES There aren't any trees here, so there is no shade on this course and you're in the middle of what looks like wheat fields (?), not vineyards, like the name would suggest. The cart has GPS and tells you (and everyone else on the course, with the loud beeping) when you are being naughty and getting too close to the greens or when you are supposed to stay on cart path (par 3). NO BEVERAGE CART! There was no beverage cart when we played, maybe it was too early, but we were hoping the wine cart would come to us at the "Wine Valley Golf Club", but it did not. How are you guys going to make money if you don't sell overpriced drinks from the food cart to the golfers? Recommend: scheduling your wine tasting at Long Shadows after your round of golf since they're both on the same road, about 20 min away from downtown Walla Walla. Or maybe do the wine tasting first lol.

From our initial meeting with Kristin, the Sales and Event Manager, the process began smoothly with a tour of the venue and setting the date. She organized a wonderful food tasting at The Chef's Table, allowing us to sample and choose the ideal menu for the occasion. As the big day approached, Kristin met with us regularly to finalize important decisions, documenting every detail and providing thorough plans that included a precise schedule and room layouts for the wedding day. On the day itself, Kristin's support and organization was unwavering - starting with escorting the bride from the suite to the ceremony and ending with making sure there were snacks available for late-night dancers - she ensured everything went smoothly from start to finish. The whole team was friendly and performed excellently. We'd like to acknowledge the chefs, servers, bartenders, and everyone involved in preparing each room and the dance floor. The day exceeded our expectations, and everyone provided outstanding service. Thank you!

If you want to stay at a hotel with old world charm, MW is where it's at!!! The lobby is quite grand, and check-in was easy and looks like those old school hotels with cubbies for the hotel keys. There's even some Telephone booths right by the check-in counter. And it's dog friendly!!! I saw a few pooches during my short stay. My room was located in the West Wing - so the newer wing attached to the Conference Center, but they still kept the old world charm in the room with cool decorations. For whatever reason, I may have booked an ADA room, but that also means my bathroom was huge! And I didn't feel it compromised the size of the bedroom. Parking was free, it did have an overflow area close to the Conference Center. The staff I encountered were pleasant and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!

She is also a college graduate, who is starting her Master's Degree as a Child Life Specialist. She is obviously not an idiot. We attended my nephew's Wedding at this Venue last Saturday. This little slice of hell IS NOT, handicap accessible. She had a small connection come loose on her bladder bag during the reception. She was near the dance floor, and immediately left to go to dump the bag and fix the valve in the restroom. She couldn't find an ADA restroom in this portion of the event center. She rushed outside, and with her sister's help, she found a grassy area that was away from areas being used by patrons, to dump the bag. Someone alerted the venue owners, who immediately and harshly and loudly, accused her of purposely urinating in public because she was "so drunk". They then proceeded to inform her that she had vomited in a corner, (she absolutely did not). When asked about an ADA restroom, which was all she needed in the first place, we were told it was below the place where the reception was being held, in another building, and she would have had to be transported via golf cart. Really? That falls under the category of Handicapped accessible? As if this wasn't bad enough, she was very rudely and very loudly told to vacate the premises IMMEDIATELY or she would be charged with public intoxication and urination and for purposely spreading bio hazardous waste. The people who own and run this place are horrible. I'd have a party in a livestock barn before ever going back here.
