Teachers take sides of parents they favor and reflect it towards their students. Those deserving students who earn and achieve honors, volunteer, and show their enthusiasm towards school and learning, fail to get rewarded, while those who do not do as well and do not participate get all the accolades based on teacher-parent relationships and not on the student's abilities. This seems to be a pattern in the Saugus school system.
