This particular one is right off Hawkins / Montana, so Central El Paso. Nice building, nothing incredibly fancy, but nice-ish. I'm just here waiting in the car. Due to COVID, there are no walk-ins allowed, and if you do have an appointment, only the appointment holder is allowed entry. Furthermore, even with appointment, you can not enter the building prior to 15 minutes before your appointment. I'm currently here waiting for Sakino T. (Another Yelp Elite) , who is inside conducting her Citizenship Interview. I brought her here, but since it's not my appointment, I'm not allowed to wait inside. I have never had to visit the social security office prior to getting married before, but I expected it to be slow and hectic like most government offices. First off, it was easy to get too, but limited parking. I got there right at opening time (9am) and was still able to find a spot. There was a long line already formed so I made my way to the back with my 4 year old. The doors opened right on time and the line started flowing right in! An employee came outside and attended to the line giving each of us a number. Once I made my way inside about 5 minutes later, a man told me to head towards the back and I was helped immediately! I'm not sure how they run things in there, but it was fast, efficient, and organized like a damn Chick-fil-a! Happy it was a breeze!

Soldiers can come here and submit everything to get a drivers license, vehicle registration, vehicle title and transfer. FT Bliss retention office is here and school liaison. Also some sort of in processing finance support . The DMV/Public Safety office inside the Welcome/Soldier Center in Fort Bliss is great for it is not near as busy as off base, you can get about everything done but the driving test part of getting a driving license.

I'm active Air Force and they still welcomed me as I was visiting in town. I waited maybe 10 minutes and got processed/finished within 20 minutes. It makes life much less stressful for military community members to not wait hours on end at the other off base places. I'd recommend making a sure you have printed copies of all your required documents. They don't accept emailed copies or copies from your smart phone.
