I'm prepared all documents needed to get my application Daniel also explained every single page of the application which was nice. He made the process very smooth as well as I came dressed according to their policy on the website. I'm extremely excited to start the EMT program in June with my next goal to enroll into their fire 1 and 2. Watching the recruits do their drills was MOTIVATING!! I can't wait to see what is in store for me.

I ended up behind the building where the advisor was and confronted by a man named "Dan" who rudely asked "WHY ARE YOU HERE!?!?!" and why my Uber was on his "soil" I kindly responded that I was here to meet with an advisor, to which he responded "WELL THE BUILDING IS RIGHT THERE!". I told him he did not have to speak to me in that manner and he told me "with an attitude like that maybe you shouldn't come here, you should leave". I am an African-American Women so I'm pretty sure he assumed I had an attitude based off my race and painting me out to be "The angry black woman". After I spoke with the advisor, I explained to him what happened and he told me "Dan told me what happened, it was just miscommunication". I then spoke to the chief who seemed VERY Nonchalant about the situation and seemed to not care or believe me. I will not be coming here, I did not feel welcomed and I felt discriminated against.

Not to mention the unprofessionalism - there are typos everywhere, the teachers pontificate with cheesy scripts and a powerpoint, and the MOST IMPORTANT POINT - a lot of basic fitness information is covered on these tests. However, this company has changed a lot of the wording to be very specific to their course, so having knowledge prior is not enough to pass, you are still going to have to memorize all of their weird terminology that you will never use again in training or anywhere else in life. The typos are often significant enough to make questions actually confusing to anyone that can read, and therefore leads you to make unnecessary mistakes. This is not to mention that Global Fit Educators is just a middleman manipulating customers, they force in a no refunds clause that you must opt into, which should have been the most obvious red flag in the world. You get what you pay for, and there's a reason this program is a fraction of the cost of any other. 110% letdown.

My imagination of the Miami metropolitan area was always very much so a dreamy one, and graduating from the school was symbolic to my love of this unique part of America. Nothing but good memories of South Florida! I got my Florida license in August, and after only 10 days, the license was fully endorsed to California, much to my amazement by how fast the whole process was considering that it usually takes at least 1 month from what I heard. If you give it your all in this program, you will succeed. Don't make excuses for your shortcomings, take accountability for the grades you receive and just keep trying. Come to class with the right attitude and mindset because Professor Chancy really strives to ensure you understand the curriculum thus you will only pass if you match her efforts, it is only fair. RN school is NOT easy, especially if you're working full time. But again, it's all willpower that makes it possible.
