She was referred to Metro Traffic School by her brother who went through the same process a few months ago. Basically my daughter registered for 6-hour driving lessons which included flexible weekday or weekend times, free pickups & drop-offs, and the actual DMV test (if the instructor determines the person is ready). Today I dropped her at the traffic school so she can do her driving test. She was a bit nervous, but I assured her that she got this. Metro Traffic School is located in the Lauderdale Marketplace among other businesses along Oakland Park Blvd. Though there are a lot of parking spaces, it tends to fill up quickly. The traffic school offers the following at various prices: * Online courses & exams for first time drivers * Driving lessons (2 - 12 hours) * DUI course * Florida permit online test * Traffic ticket course * Spanish courses In conclusion, my daughter did well and passed. My instructor was rude from the beginning, he mispronounced my name even with correction. I dont even think he stated his name to me. when I got in the car, I put my seatbelt on and checked my mirrors, he was not paying attention to me. The instructor told me i understood the rules of driving and cones represented people. I acknowledge it. I have driven my small car, I am not used to a bigger SUV. I hit the cone, he told me to stop and pull in. which is fine I messed up. instead of telling me what I have done wrong, he chose to belittle me by asking me what I have done wrong, in an unprofessional tone. I told him I am not used to the size of this car and he said "no". questionly I stated" I didn't pull out all the way " he said "yes, you need to pull the car out all the way, no matter the size. now get out of the car out you failed" also being really hash " you have killed someone". It should have been more of a teachable moment instead of just flat out being rude about it. I understand the dangers of the road but being rude about it after I spent $100 dollar for this test is inconsiderate. I will not be taking the test here again.

This review is solely based on the quality of service I received the day I was supposed to take the…read moredrivers test. The service & driving lessons I received by Shetty were phenomenal. She made me feel comfortable driving and gave me the confidence to finally get on the road. I took 6 hours of lessons for about a month. Prior to booking lessons with Continental I had made it clear that I had a New York State permit. I received false information letting me know that everything will be fine with the permit and that I would be able to book and take my test with my New York State permit. I made sure to inquire about this as to not waste my time or the company's time. After taking my lessons, my test was booked and no additional information/instructions given. I arrived early to the test site and waited for the person administrating the test to arrive. When I was going to fill the forms to get started, I presented the gentleman with my New York State Permit only to be denied. I let him know that I was not told that I needed a Florida permit in order to take the test and that I was misled into thinking I'd be able to take my drivers test that morning. The lack of clarity from the company is abhorrent and a money grabbing scheme. At this point, I was hysterical because 1) I spent money on transportation to get to school 2) I had wasted my morning waiting for nothing and he offered me no solutions 3) the man continued to argue with me saying that I heard the wrong information. I am not in the business of wasting my time or anybody else's time so why would I book an appointment if I did not have the correct documentation for the test? Instead of offering an apology for the inconvenience he caused, he continued to argue with to tell me I heard wrong and calling me a liar. I ended up getting refunded for the test but this review is about the lack of clarity & communication from this driving school. Calling a client a liar & not admitting your mistakes is horrible customer service. I implore you to take a course in providing great customer service as to not lose future customers. This information should be on the driving schools website as to not mislead future drivers. Although I was satisfied with my classes, I would never recommend this school to anybody I know just based off the interaction I had on the day I was supposed to take my driving lesson. Editing review to add: Even the response from the owner is abhorrent. He continues to try place blame on the situation instead of using this as a learning moment for himself and for his company. After reviewing other websites for driving school in the area, I conclude that Continentals website did not provide clear information and that when asked the owner intentionally provided me with misinformation. He was very nice, patient, answered my questions and was informative. He communicated with me throughout the entire process. My daughter completed 8 hours of driving lessons with them since she had already done some with me. Miriana and Jonathan were both driving instructors for my daughter. They helped her gain much more confidence in her driving and I could tell the difference when I'd let her drive my car. She completed her lessons with them and then I got her the exam package and she passed on first try. I highly recommend them!
