Dr. Dupont always gives you just the facts, you weigh them, you say yes or no on tests, dental and otherwise. And that is how we handle our pets needs. Will there be an exam fee-yep, will there be bloodwork in event somethings wrong thats not outwardly presenting itself-yep. Often pet owners put off dental cleanings too which do require putting pet under on gas, the gingivitis then contributes to sickness. Our girls all needed this too, we have 3. We waited too many yrs and 2 needed extractions..theyre 10 yo tho. I see people mostly disgruntled on costs, you get what you pay for: longtime staff who dont leave a vet 3 yrs in, dogs arent barking, parrots arent shrieking, its quiet and calming. There is affordable boarding if holidays see you traveling and youve got no trustworthy pals. Theres medical boarding which is supervised into evening but actual front admin close at 6:00 p.m. Recently we moved to shoreline, vets down here dont have same values i guess. A very sickly fur baby couldnt be treated by anyone..even the Emergency people at Piper Memorial in Madison (half hr from us) stated, you can keep her in the car for an hour or more, we'll call you when youre next. We were like WTH! So we drove 1 hr to Rocky Hill and there was Dr Dupont w/staff ready & waiting. Our baby Molly is now doing terrific.

Just yesterday, I discovered that my elderly cat had end stage kidney disease. Dr. Haviar and his staff were so kind, allowing me to stay in the examining room while I waited for my daughter and son-in-law so they could say good-bye before putting her to sleep. I know that we jammed up their schedules and exam rooms while they patiently waited for us to say our good-byes. There is a special place in heaven for these kind caregivers of my kitties! I highly recommend that you entrust your fur babies to this practice!

I came here on a whim because my dog was very sick and I was from out of town. When I brought her she couldn't even walk or stand up. They got my golden retriever in immediately, And gave her the best care. The vet tech was amazing who came to get her!!! They asked me if I needed any shots and we're very helpful. They sent us home with a prescription and also gave her a shot and within 24 hours I could already tell she was getting better. I was so impressed by the care, and they even followed up with me a couple days to see how she were feeling. The receptionist at the front desk was so kind and professional, and honestly that place is lucky to have her. If I didn't live far away I would definitely change this but unfortunately, I do but highly recommend the place as my experience was excellent!
