The crust is toasty, the sauce is robust. The cheese is baked in and stays in place. The texture is soft yet crispy in all the right spots! This might be a "plain" in terms of toppings, but it's anything but plain in flavor. I actually prefer it sans pepperoni because it's a lot less greasy and there's a lot to savor there that meat eclipses. It's also a generous amount of food if you're hungry and want leftovers, usually they're just as great the next day. I might not be able to return to regular crust! In fact, I was full after one slice, but I really wanted more. I have no idea how they get the perfectly baked texture throughout, but I have no doubt in my mind Marcello's is an amazing choice for a pie. If you're new to the area, you won't be disappointed.
