AERIALISTS and PARENTS of Aerialists BEWARE. One day, the owner Barrie Michaels will have you convinced you're a family friend and the next she is verbally abusing your child in class. This environment is unfit for adolescent ladies and young girls. If you want your child to develop healthy body image and good self esteem DO NOT send them here. On numerous occasions, Coach Barrie asks their weight and has gone as far to say, "Im an adult, I only weigh 10 lbs more than you".
She also accuses you of being dis-loyal if anything comes in between aerials. She doesn't support multiple sport athletes and goes as far to demean them in class and behind their backs!
She will turn on you like the plague, when you have other commitments. Expressing your feelings means nothing to her. She is an entitled narcissist woman who preys on young girls because they are easier to control. She will convince parents that she is a healthy role model, but take my warning seriously!
I tried to address my concerns before this low review and gave the owner, Barrie Michaels multiple opportunities to make amends. She continues to spew nonsense. She is trash. Beware! This review will never be removed, because of the disrespect my family has endured since 2/19/24.
Many of her students have reached out to my family in sheer disgust of how she yells and has spoken about my family. It's gone as far as having to involve an attorney. The fact Ive paid monthly tuition for 8 years and this is what Im dealing with is appalling. read more
